Yiddle I LOVE your poppy. It's my favorite flower. I'm no expert but I feel as if I touch the flower I could feel the petals' texture. Excellent!

Hi all, my son is doing OK. The house is flooded (again) and they lost both cars. They are staying at the inlaws in Louisiana for the time being. When the water level lowers they will start the cleaning and replacing things as needed. Another example of reasons to have insurance.

Ugh! So sorry they have to deal with that mess, but at least they're all safe and have a place to stay. I'll keep the good vibes coming for them.

Love you poppy! Of course you're not thrilled with it. The artist rarely seems to be satisfied with the end product, but that just makes you better! Guess that's why they call it "learning". You're doing great! I love the depth the light and shadow you captured.
