Good morning everyone. It's going to be a quiet day today. We're going to the annual Christmas get together with our long time friends tomorrow so we're resting up.
Hi all. Christmas was a totally relaxing day. Dinner was easy since all I had to do was fix the side dishes. The deep-fried turkey was so good that I now want to get a deep frier.
The day after Christmas my daughter and I went with a friend for an afternoon hunt. We spent the afternoon in a ground blind and had a wonderful time. It was my daughter's first deer hunt. We didn't see any deer but heard a few sounds. I'm thinking I might go one more time tomorrow.
On Friday, I spent the day napping. I didn't take the pain meds as I should have, so on Thursday night and Friday, I spent my time playing catch-up on my pain. I feel much better today so I will work on a couple of chores.
