Morning, misfits. Cooler temps, for now, and for the next few days. Sounds crazy, yeah, but

Good morning. We spent Sat. night at our daughters so we could babysit the boys while she and hubs went to a birthday party. We got home Sun. afternoon after finding out that Spring is going to come early. It's a good thing I don't arrange my life according to that rodents predictions, but if he turns out to be right this year I'll take it. 46 days until Spring.

Anybody watch the game last night? We did and rooted for the Chiefs so we were happy when they won. It kinda felt a little like Phila was there with Andy Reid.

Yep, go KC! Rooted for them, as well, since SF, in beating the Hawks in the last game of the season meant no bye week for us, and then Green Bay nailed it shut... so just couldn't root for SF!

(Bad news, Phil is, statistically, wrong more often than right ;) )

Hola .. :)

Since STL lost the Rams, KC has kind of taken over Hearts and Minds round these parts, secondary to the Blues, you understand .. Great Comeback Game, Great Halftime Show, especially Shakira .. :D ..

SF has had, I think, 5 Super Bowl wins .. KC had not had one in 50 years, until now ..

Yep, we were all here and even though I don't watch football on a regular basis as hubby does, we were all so happy for Andy Reid!

Found myself getting up from the sofa and yelling! It was a good time enjoyed by all of us! Good food, greater company!!

I'm not a fan of team sports so I didn't know who won the game until I saw it this morning while reading my news feed. I used to watch it just for the commercials but now I can watch them on the internet.
Today is my day for being domestic. Doing laundry and have a pot of chicken & noodles on the stove for dinner. I make a big enough pot to serve any company and also to have left-overs for a couple of days. Yum yum

While I do closely follow the Hawks, they're almost the only team sport I do. And not really a rabid football fan, just a Hawks fan

But then there's things like the Olympics... some of the events, summer and winter are fun to spectate. :pop:

Morning, misfits. Another round of storms coming, but at least, for now, snow level still low. Maybe we'll keep some of our snow.... of course, having it stay higher than us is a boon, sort of. Can't remember if we've had enough - and a long enough - cold spell to reduce the bug population for Spring...

Hola .. :)

I'm not a huge pro-Sports Game fan myself .. however, I do enjoy spectacles like the Super Bowl, probably because it generally is, er, a spectacle .. I can remember when Prince did the halftime show, it was jaw dropping amazing ..

I'll watch the World Series, although I find baseball fairly slow .. surprisingly, as the STL Blues made their way to the Stanley Cup, I became an off and on viewer .. Hockey is a fast game and it began to show me that it's maybe the most physically intensive game there is .. I mean, those guys have really got to be in shape and mentally sharp .. chasing a super fast puck around an ice rink, balancing on skates, paying attention to everything else going on around you, etc .. respect to those guys ..

PSA of the Day ..

Some of you may recall the Obituary and Video regarding the sacrificial death of Cultural Icon Mr. Peanut .. so, I did want to follow up on that with the Birth of Baby Peanut, who will obviously be groomed (or cultivated, as it were) by the fine folks at Planters .. rumor has it that Baby Peanut and Baby Yoda have hit it off big time .. and that Baby Peanut may have a Cameo in the next season of "The Mandalorian" ..
