Good afternoon everybody. Got my grocery shopping done and put away and then made a broccoli casserole. As soon as it comes out of the oven it's nap time! Then I'll just bake some chicken thighs. I found some Thumbprint cookies in the freezer from Christmas so we have dessert too! I love it when dinner is taken care of. I enjoy cooking, it's figuring out what to make that drives me crazy. It would be nice to just swallow a dinner pill on the days I don't feel like cooking.

Good rainy morning. Looks like we're going to be wet for the foreseeable future which means our ugly tree is not going to get removed for quite awhile. At least the birds will be happy about that.

I think today is the cut off for being able to buy flavored pods. We'll see how that goes.

I started running a bit low on my Maxwell House coffee stash .. I'm down to just 3 containers .. Normally, I keep an eye out at Walgreens for the Bonus Size can on sale at $5.99, but, they have not had any in some time .. just the regular container size at $5.99 on sale ..

At any rate, I found this deal on Amazon and snagged it tout suite ..

Couldn't find the Master Blend "Light' on the website. I'm a 50/50 coffee drinker too.

How do you know for sure it's actually 50/50 half-caf .. ? It could be 20/80 .. or 70/30 ..

And, why not just take a container of real coffee and mix it with the same size container decaf .. ??

Doesn't look like they have it online, but I can assure Ya' they do have it in all the Walgreens/CVS around here . . . Also in local markets - like Publix/Winn Dixie, even Target/Walmart too . . . However, KEEP READING . . .

To be honest - I don't know. However, I was told Maxwell House used to call it "Half & Half" until they changed the name to "Light"/"Lite" . . . This is what they say about "Light"/"Lite" on there website:

And, why not just take a container of real coffee and mix it with the same size container decaf .. ??

Yep - They want me to go full decaf - didn't happen . . . Thankfully, I found and was using "Half & Half" at the time . . . Now, like I said time to make a return . . .

Well - Let's be honest . . . Taste wise - not really that much, but IMHO - there is a difference in taste . . . AND - YEP, there is a big difference between Caff & Decaf for many people - both physically & emotionally - since Ya' usually go through "withdrawal" symptoms:
