Just as an FYI ..

I drink no sodas .. no tea .. no energy drinks .. etc ..

Pretty much the only things than pour down my gullet are Coffee, Water and Booze .. on rare occasions I'll have a lemonade ..

I was a heavy Mountain Dew drinker for a long time, until my kidneys started hurting and my DR advised me to quit, the pain went away .. I used to down 3-5 cans or 16 OZ bottles a day .. now, that was some withdrawal ..

Hola .. :)

I have to amend this to say I do enjoy some whole milk / chocolate milk sometimes .. :)

I may just be overly paranoid about this whole Coronavirus, but given that I think the Chinese are not offering up full disclosure and I have a healthy streak of natural paranoia, this thing could be the tip of the iceberg .. it feels like shipping disruptions may be in the offing .. I mean, the "experts" seem to think that regular consumer hardgoods are not an issue, but what about the food we import from China .. ??

It's a fragile World ..

Good rainy morning. Looks like it rained all night and will continue all day today. We'll get a break tomorrow and then more rain. You might think it's April. 38 days until Spring!

Yes, the Coronavirus is worrying, but at least it sounds like they're trying to contain it early. I don't think we have enough information since China has been hiding it. How many people have had a mild case that never got reported and how does it stack up against the flu? We're so used to the flu that we don't hear about how many people die from that every year. Pretty soon we'll all be bathing in Purell.

As long as we have international air travel, diseases will have a ticket to the world... but in this case, if China had listened to the doc back in December, it might have been contained sooner. It does seem to be air-borne, and the people who are supposed to know about this kind of thing (uh, but do they, really??) are saying that it's life span out of a host is short enough that contamination on a package is pretty remote.

I do think much of the shipping delays are because people are still in quarantine and not back on the job.
