That will depend on what program you use.

 AH - A Program, got to get one of those . . . ;)

 Wait - I think I still have an old copy of Norton's "Ghost" somewhere . . .

Maybe I can get a "Psychic Medium" / "Gypsy" to find where he is . . .

That may work, although if too old, it might not install...

Although a full disk image isn't what's needed. Several good -- and FREE -- programs are out there:

Best free backup software 2020: save your files and folders and work for free | TechRadar
(I've been using Easus for a while, happy with it, does what I need)

The best free backup software and services: Reviews and buying advice for protecting your data
(also has a nice writeup of, well, backups ;) )

I'm not big on online backups. First, well, out here in the sticks, just not practical. Time to back my main hard drive would be measured in days... Second, well, I just don't trust any of them to keep my data private, and, second, well, a bunch of us remember when a favorite free repository locked up all our pictures!!

'Morning?/afternoon everyone...;)

I'm slowly pulling myself out of the doldrums and have gone from not even wanting to be bothered cooking, to getting up, fixing a late breakfast of frog in a hole made with some good sourdough...doing my dishes and putting a bunch of boneless pork ribs in my crock pot with barbecue sauce to simmer away for most of today. Yeah...yeah...I know it's not as good as real barbecue, but still tasty and one does what one can with what you have to work with...:)

With the price of most meats, and my budget, chicken has been my main source for so long that I've often commented that I may begin to sprout feathers... When I went shopping this week I was shocked at the price increase! I used to buy a package of 5 breasts for about $10...this week a package of 3 was over $12! Do the math...what used to be $2 a breast is now $4..exactly double of what it was.

Now, if I can just muster up the will to get back to my easel, I may be able to get back to being myself again....

And, apparently, due to two parallel supply chains, one for retail (us) and one for commercial/industrial (restaurants and such.) That latter one, sorely impacted by the closures, has caused many producers to lose their customers. Due to the way it's packaged, differently for the two chains, we see news of all kinds of "commercial" producers dumping milk, plowing crops into fields... (they really should divert all that to food banks!!) And, since the outfits higher up the chain - packaging and distribution - are losing $$ in the commercial market, rising prices are, well, another part of the fall-out...

While I totally agree that we need to remember and learn from history, at the same time, I don't think it makes a lot of sense to honor those who fought against our Union. We don't allow the Nazi flag or emblem, why should we allow those of the only group who has waged war against us on our soil?

Taking down the statues and putting them in a museum would be a better alternative than destroying them.

Gen. Bragg was incompetent, btw...

Bragg is generally considered among the worst generals of the Civil War. Most of the battles in which he engaged ended in defeats. Bragg was extremely unpopular with both the men and the officers of his command, who criticized him for numerous perceived faults, including poor battlefield strategy, a quick temper, and overzealous discipline. Bragg has a generally poor reputation with historians, while some point towards the failures of Bragg's subordinates, especially Leonidas Polk, a close ally of Davis and known enemy of Bragg, as more significant factors in the many Confederate defeats at which Bragg commanded. The losses which Bragg suffered are cited as principal factors in the ultimate defeat of the Confederacy.

( Braxton Bragg - Wikipedia )

Maybe naming the base for him was a thank you :)

I tagged 'Winner' because of the BBQ and the easel, not the chicken .. :p .. I'll add that, the other day, I bagged a good size rotisserie chicken and a whole fried chicken at the Kroger on a 2 for $10 sale .. since I don't mind cold chicken, I ate most of the fried bird over a couple days, ate about half the rotisserie bird the first day and then made a small batch of chicken 'n dumplings with what was left ..

Score ..

What I'm saying is expunging does not lead to a mindset change .. the proponents of Revisionary History seem to think 'if we can make something disappear, then all will be good and everyone will live in Bliss and Harmony ..' ..

Just not going to happen .. anyone that really, really wants to have an honest discussion about Racism needs to know that it's out there, and likely much more prevalent than many would want to admit .. and, I don't care where you live, it's not confined to the South ..

It's the mindset that's the issue, not a Statue ..

For some reason this song began running through my head while I was watching your video...

No one can really change the past...all we can do is somehow find a a way to go forward. Children aren't born hating others...it's taught and people on all sides need to teach their children in a way that will help to change the future into a better world for all. Yeah....I'm a dreamer like John Lennon...

Quite right, just as much as ignoring problems doesn't solve them. For me, it's not a question of revising history but of not honoring the bad / evil / ugly parts of it. How many of us would feel comfortable having swasticas on NASCAR vehicles? The Stars and Bars has the same gut punch to many of our citizens. Doesn't mean we should forget (NEVER), but one of the reasons for museums. We don't celebrate or put up memorials TO Auschwitz, but DO put (in or as museums) records of the atrocity.

Well, of course, you're right about kids .. however, I'll bet dollars to donuts that since the Caveman days, there has always, and always will be, a faction of the populace that develops their own personal feeling of Superiority over others, no matter the upbringing .. and, is that not the root and stem of the whole shebang .. ??

Good discussion points, BTW .. I believe if we don't "talk" about it, it will never change ..

Good morning! It's a gorgeous day today. Only going up to 73 so not a hot pool day, but I'm betting some of the kids will go in anyway.

The skies are perfectly clear for a change, but wouldn't you know it, the ISS is not viewable in this area until the 24th. Guess it's only going to be overhead when the clouds are here.

True, there will always be some, and, indeed, feeling superior in some way can be beneficial. As in "I'm the best person for this job", or similar. Based on skill, experience, reasonable. Based on gender or race or religion, not so much. THOSE tend to be taught to children, as are skills. We need to teach respect and compassion, along with other productive life skills.

And, of course, accepting that others may make choices we'd not make doesn't mean we have to agree, just allow (as long as non-violent!)

Yep...slept in late once again...:D

Absolutely! I'm thinking you could use any amount of chicken you want. The thicker the chicken though the longer it will take to bake. (I usually pound the chicken breast to thin and tenderize it.) And it's just as delicious heated up the next day.

Bacon, Cream Cheese, Cheddar Chicken - Julia's Album

Janet...the link doesn't work for me...:( Just taking a guess... Pound out the chicken, roll a chunk of cream cheese up in it, top with bacon bits and shredded cheddar and bake?
