Good morning Fran. It's a beautiful, sunny morning, but only 38 degrees when I got up. Maybe that old .... was too cold to visit the bird feeder because it was untouched even though I forgot to sprinkle the cayenne on it. I'm hoping he's given up on the spicy hot birdseed!
I spent the afternoon yesterday cleaning out the garden. I got a whole basket full of tomatoes and little peppers. This afternoon we're picking up Miles and Beckett from school and bringing them here for a sleep over to give their parents a break. I promised to make them pancakes with chocolate chips for breakfast tomorrow. It's been awhile since we've done this so I'm hoping we'll be able to get them to sleep before midnight...

Woke up to sunshine...tho the temp. is in the low 40's right now..but the fall leaves are beautiful ... tho the yard is covered with them...oh well, the snow, when it starts, will cover THEM

Mild here this morning with heavy rain forecasted.
Gussy is doing well and so dd & sil. They're just so happy that the procedure went smoothly, and to have him back home. Lots of adjustments being made but they're on top of it. Goldens have such great personalities, so it makes it alot easier.
Forecasted rain is here; smells so good and refreshing!

Good morning, all. Wow, I got a surprise when I signed in to ecf just a few minutes ago. I won the Inokein Ares 2 Giveaway! This is the first time I have won any giveaways on ecf. Since they are RTAs, I will be putting them to good use.
A bit of an update on my new tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. I like the size and clarity of the tablet, the only drawback is that without a case it is a bit difficult to hold it in one hand as the back is slick and if im not careful my thumb will slide over and cause a drop down menu or slowdown scrolling. I'm impressed with the pen that came with it. However, I'm afraid I'll loose it even with the magnet holder on the side of the tablet. A case is coming from Amazon later today and it has a holder for the pen that will keep it safer and will also make it easier to hold.. I did find replacement pens and they are are not cheap, $46.25! One thing, the pen does make it much easier typing.
I didn't realize how slow the old tablet had become until I started using this new one. I have to say it is on par with my laptop as far as speed goes. I am really happy with the new tablet.

Good morning. It's a bit overcast 54 here going up to 75 today. The leaves are turning and falling. Due to the wind we've had I don't think this is going to be one of those spectacular Falls around here, but I could take this weather all year round. I'm very grateful not to have had the fires and rain others are experiencing.

I'm so proud of myself. By 8:07 I'd made pancakes with chocolate chips, fed the boys and had the kitchen cleaned up! It's a miracle. I usually don't even think about breakfast until 9:30. Their parents should be here about noon and after they leave Mike and I are both taking naps!

I think postings in general have slowed down, not just here but on ECF as a whole .. I don't know why ..
And, I don't know if it's just my ISP, but the site has been running somewhat slow the last few days .. other sites seem about the same as always ..
