These just arrived via UPS. I have the batteries on charge, although they have a partial charge I want to start them out fully charged. I'm glad I have a 4 bay charger it does come with a 2 bay charger but I'll just put it away in my stash drawer. They are 2600mAh 18650 button top batteries so they'll only be used in the flashlights. Here in Tornado Alley, you can never have too many flashlights.

Y'all must be busy beavers the rest of the day n night:) me, too...watching tv and crotcheting :D
I don't crotchet so in the afternoon I sit down in my recliner, stick my nose in a good book, and with my puppy on my lap we relax together.

Hola .. :)

I think postings in general have slowed down, not just here but on ECF as a whole .. I don't know why ..

And, I don't know if it's just my ISP, but the site has been running somewhat slow the last few days .. other sites seem about the same as always ..

I haven't noticed a slow down in ECF response time ... but definitely a slow down in all the threads that I follow, not just here.

If you've got 8-9 minutes give this a listen. I found the long lead-in educational and fascinating. (I can't take credit for 'finding' the video, it was posted in another thread by Anna .... remember Anna and her most unique rambles.)

Happy Sunday, all.

Wet weather continues here. Enough sun breaks yesterday to thoroughly confuse the cats :)

While I've had no recent issues with the board, I've read in other threads that some have, yesterday. Possibly a confused electron in the server?

FYI: Check with Inogen - they did all the work necessary for "Me" to get both the portable and stationary oxygen machine through Medicare/Medicaid at absolutely no cost out of pocket to "Me".

From Inogen Website:

Call (toll free) to speak to an Inogen representative now:
1-855-213-4372
The Inogen One may be covered by Medicare or insurance

More info here: You searched for Medicare | Inogen

Hope this information is helpful . . . :D

thank you for the info! But I've been on Social Security and Medicare for some years now, so I should be able to get it at no cost. I'll know for sure next week.

But I'll give them a call!!!:headbang:

Hi all, I hope everyone has had a good weekend. Today, I finally managed to get the steering fixed on my mower and mowed the outside yard. It looked like someone took a hammer and flattened the gears on the steering bar. I should be good for another 5 or so years.
Good morning, all. Well, I just finished getting caught up on the post and discovered that I had not sent this out last night. My life is so fun, just think, I'll be able to hide my own Easter Eggs. Today, I will be able to finish the mowing and edging of the yard. First I will do the edging and weed-eating in the front and side yard then if I am not in too much pain, I will finish the mowing in the backyard. Now to see if my body and do what my mind envisions. I hope everyone has a good day.

Hola .. :)

No sign of rain, been dry now since around mid-August, so my yard is really, straw .. piddled around yesterday, cleaned out the two Hummingbird feeders and stashed them for next year, fixed a few leaks in my rain gutters with that spray rubber coat you see on TV .. (they had it at Lowes) .. did a complete cleaning on a few windows that needed it .. tried to better organize the garage and gave up on that ..

After the Sunday morning local news and "Meet the Press", "Face the Nation" and "Sunday Morning", I generally just put on a channel that's airing old movies all day .. since I'm usually in and out of the house the rest of the day ..

I'd put it on Showtime, which had "Roadhouse" playing, if anyone remembers that classic .. when I settled in around 5:00, they had just started "Bridges of Madison County" .. I had a beer and had eaten a (legal) weed candy .. (don't fool yourself, those candies can flat out kick your .... .. I don't usually eat a whole one ..)

At any rate, I'd seen "Bridges" at the theater when it first came out, having been dragged there by a woman .. and, had not watched it since, but did remember I liked it ..

It is such a metaphor, whether you are a man or a woman, on choices made, the road not taken, love found / love lost .. Eastwood and Streep had such screen chemistry ..

PSA for Today ::

Tomorrow, Amazon Prime Day(s) begin .. I don't know if it's at the stroke of midnight or what .. what I do know is, traditional, in store Black Friday may / will be somewhat flaky this year for a few reasons .. as well, the supply chain prognosticators are predicting low inventories on some things as we enter the Holiday Buying season ..

Many on-line spots, including Walmart, have already put up counter-Prime Day sales ..

I don't really buy for anyone but me, and I've been holding out on that 75" TV until now .. if I find 12 packs of double roll toilet paper for $2.00, I may load up on those ..

For Amazon, I usually pre-shop and add stuff to my cart / save for later since there really is no cart limit .. then, I'll use Honey (thanks, Daniel) to see if there have been any worthwhile price drops .. I also got the Amazon Store Card the other day, which will offer 10% credit back on certain Prime Purchases, so, if I do buy a TV, that will be a nice little added bonus ..
