Well, if I don't post tomorrow, just let me say I am truly thankful for the folks that hang around these parts .. enjoy your Holiday, eat and drink all you want and don't be guilty about it .. and save some sliced turkey for sandwiches (with mayo or Miracle Whip, of course) ..

Best to everyone & their families. In view of a challenging year, it's a welcome change to think about the friends that have touched our lives and take the time to appreciate them. I'm looking at all of you. Thank you for being here - your contributions, support, music, humor and more have made a difference on many days.

I'm enjoying a quiet day, neglecting the many things on my to-do list. That doesn't happen often and when it does, it is to be savored. It's cold & rainy here so it's nice to nap, snuggle with the a book, and just relax for a change.

I found out that first cousins in AZ are delaying their Thanksgiving until Friday so I guess that could be called an extended family tradition too? Their excuse - they are going to the Grand Canyon today. Nice.

BTW - Mike, if you have stuffing left over, feel free to send it my way - it looks very good!! I know, not a chance as it will all be gobbled, but a girl can dream

It looks like it is going to be one of those nights. I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Our dinner was really good. My daughter is very happy, she now has left-over dressing/stuffing and mashed potatoes.
Since I have 2 new tanks, the ARES-2 & ARES-2 LE, I have been watching videos and reviews on them. A lot of the reviewers and the designers/makers talk about how great the flavor is. I decided I should try adding some flavors and see if the flavor really is good as they say.
One of the reasons I decided to try vaping unflavored ejuice is because try as I might, I very seldom really tasted the eJuice and when I did it was a very muted flavor. I still have some concentrates from when I was using flavors. Fran told me about a site where I could add what flavors I have and then the system will give you different recipes you can try. I pulled out my DIY gear and started on making a couple of 10ml taste testers. One was Bavarian Cream & Marshmallow and the other was Mango & Whipped Cream.
Oh my! Not only were the recipes easy, but they were also delicious. Yes, I tasted the Mango, a little muted but good when paired with Whipping Cream. A really nice smooth vape.
The Bavarian Cream teamed up with the Marshmallow was also good. A very smooth and creamy vape. I'm very happy. I guess this ol' dog can learn a new trick.
This turned out longer than I had anticipated. I hope everyone has a good day and also have enough left-overs for a good turkey and dressing sandwich, don't forget the Miracle Whip.

Good morning. How is everyone doing today? I'm having cheesecake/pumpkin pie for breakfast.

Whew! We survived yesterday. It was a joyous, chaotic mess! Our daughter brought the turkey and I'd gotten a breast since we added our son and family. She decided to use the convection feature on my oven which I'd never used before. Seemed like a good time to use it because it shortens the roasting time. Wrong! The turkey roasting directions said it would take 2-1/2 hours. 4 hours later it was finally done. All the side dishes were heated and ready to eat at 2:30 and had cooled off by the time the turkey was done. So, everything had to go back in the oven while I carved the turkey and it all came together finally. Of course we'd already gone through 2 bottles of wine and appetizers in the meantime.

It was threatening to rain all day, but held off so the kids could go outside and run off some energy with their various bikes and trikes. This morning we've got sunshine and it'll be going up to 60. Beautiful!

Our daughter and family stayed for the night. Today they're excited to make us chimichangas with the leftovers. They say they like them even better than the dinner! We've never had them so it'll be a treat to try something new - and for someone else to do the cooking today.
