Good snowy morning ( here in Mi.)


It looks lovely...tho it appears to be only about less than 2 in. There's approx. half a dozen cardinals on the feeders ( I have four rather large ones...so I don't have to fill them so often )Plus various other birds everywhere!

Now I'm going to do my morning ritual to wake up...drink coffee, vape and play Euchre on my pc...

Well, a balmy 35 here And now they're making noises about, maybe, snow down to sea level later in the week. While that wouldn't be an issue for us, well, the folk down in the city do have issues.

Instead of filling my giant travel mug with coffee this AM and going to the workshop, I plonked down in front of the TV and watched a couple hours of the Inauguration pre-coverage .. will catch the live feed at noon Central ..

Maybe wishful thinking, but, Peace, Hope, Health and Love to the Greatest Nation on Earth ..

Good Morning/afternoon, all. Weather Nation tells me it is 43° with a high today of 50°. Tomorrow will have a high of 59°. I, of course, overdid it yesterday cleaning up the left-over leaves, sticks, and small limbs from all of the piles of debris from the last ice storm. I filled 3 large black trash bags. I think I will have just enough room in one of the trash barrels for our regular weekly trash on Friday.
I'm thinking that I will go to the farm tomorrow and help Steven put down some traps. I still need to make some tags for my traps. I am going to have to go to Harbor Freight and pick up an engraver. I should be able to pick one up for just a few greenbacks. Other than that I really have no plans for my day. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

Good morning!

After I watched the swearing-in ceremony yesterday, later on I watched all the stars singing in a concert...it was amazing! I laughed..and I cried a little! I truly feel that a load has been lifted mentally and emotionally.

I hope this post doesn't seem political...it's not how I meant it. If it needs to be deleted I understand.

Rain's back, temp's up. IF they're right, it could be changing to snow in the next couple days. Historically (or hysterically?) when they mutter about "maybe light snow at sea level" it means either nothing at all or a foot. Well, that would make it easier to lock down!

Another soggy day here, still (barely) over freezing, despite 'casts to the contrary. Of course, this being western WA, they could already have a foot of snow 5 miles away.
