Good morning. Looks like we're in the April showers mode. It's raining now and predicted to rain for the next several days. The critters don't seem to care, but it's messy for me having to go out in the rain to put the bird feeders out. I'd wait for a break in the rain, but the birds are hoping around on the deck railing wondering where their breakfast is.

So, Fran, any reaction to your 2nd Pfizer shot yesterday? We had absolutely nothing after our first and we get our 2nd one on Tuesday.
24 hours after 2nd shot I have no reaction as yet . Dd has a slight backache.

Morning Janet! It poured here, too, yesterday, and is continuing for a couple more days. What I do when this happens is cover my bird feeders with what's called rain baffles, works very well...it's a pain, but it's better than emptying out the wet seeds!
Or...when I'm feeling lazy...which is often..I just bring them in and set them on the dryer in the utility room:D

    Morning, all, and happy Sunday.

No rain here, guess for a change we're sending it all east. May reach 50 today, but the claim is 70 by Friday. Uh huh.

Ours were Pfizer as well. Neither of us had much reaction to the first, and less from the second :)

Good morning Cathy and whoever else is up. Our temps are mild and it looks like we'll be having rain here and there in our forecast for the next week. These April showers are causing our Redbud trees to burst into bloom any minute. It's greening up all around us and the clematis I planted last year is throwing out new leaves. Mike has done the first mowing of the season. Guess I need to get out and check on what plants are coming back and clear the weeds away from them in between the rain showers. Ain't Spring grand??

    Good morning all.
What a heart warming story to read about the baby and the men!

Another typical April day here...third day in a row for steady rain...I'm glad that I thought to bring in the bird feeders . And I'd readied the soil around it, cleaned up the seed shells and sprinkled some grass seed. It was nice putsing around in the yard. I've always been an outside-type person, as kids, in the summer, we all took off after breakfast and didn't return till dinner

    Hola .. :)

Not much to report .. the usual Sunday spent with yard work .. had to do a little work on the mower .. belt was messed up .. it was nice, temp wise, but the wind was gusty .. so much so, it was kinda nipply in the shade ..

Oh, today is National Grilled Cheese Day, so there is that ..

Good afternoon all. I heading out in a bit, I've got to go to the ATT store. For some reason when I try to use the camera on my phone it gives me an error - Security policy prevents use of camera. I'm sure it is something simple but it is aggravating.

I've been working on an old Craftsman edger. It is a 4-wheeled walk behind edger that can also be used to cut down small trees if a Forester blade is installed. I've had it for probably 20+ years. The motor went out on it years ago so I have had it stored in my equipment shed. I bought a new motor from Harbor Freight and I've been modifying the frame to hold the new motor. I think I have it now where the motor will work but I ran out of daylight yesterday. I will work on it more when I get home from the ATT store. I've been waiting for the caffeine and pain pills to kick in.

I had a good day at the farm on Saturday. I picked up some traps and helped to drag limbs to a nearby pile and then burned the pile. I like the smell of a bonfire. I think I put about 5 miles on the 4 wheeler. That thing is a blast to ride. It hadn't been started in 4 months. I gave 3 pumps on the carburetor bulb and it started right up. That Honda engine is a real workhorse.

Well, I had better get going on my running around. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

2nd round of moderna Sunday. Kicking both of our rear ends. 100.8 fever, severe headaches, joint pain, and fatigue. Day 2 is better, but not measurable. If I knew what I know, we would skip second dose.

Although I had no issues with the first or second Pfizer, if I did, I would just chalk it up to a small price to pay .. :)

Thanks, Willie, now I know what to fix for dinner.

I'll get really freaky sometimes and put some ham or a bologna slice on my grilled cheese .. crazy, I know ..

The trick with the bologna is to fry it up first and then add to the grilled cheese .. it just brings out all that mystery meat hidden goodness ..

I've been known to add sliced tomato sandwiched between two slices of cheese. Gotta be careful, though. If an entire slice of tomato slithers into your mouth all at once, it can burn your lips.

Haven't had bologna on our ham and cheese, but we do fry up some Spam to add and of course ham if we have it.
