Only on rare occasions when I go to the movies...I have a nice popcorn popper....never use it. Type ll diabetic... curtails anything high in carbs that can convert to sugar in the bloodstream...;)

Wow pretty fancy chopper. What's the purpose for that particular model. BIG

That’s a Blackhawk. They can be configured as a full out attack ‘copter, medvac, transportation, etc. These at Ft Belvoir are mainly air taxies for VIPs.

Now if you happen to be a VIP with 4 stars or more you get a special ride. There’s 2 of these kept in a hangar. Brian said SOP is to give them a complete cleaning including a full exterior wax immediately after each flight.

Bright and sunny with a high predicted at 76 .. :) .. the "Big Chill" starts tomorrow .. I'm predicting "Breakfast for Dinner" this evening .. :)

View attachment 696171
It was warmed in your state thsn mine today. We only got up to 68 which is our normal for January. We're having 2-3 days of this and I don't know what's causing it. But my tomato plants don't like it. :(

And, I only indulge to this level maybe once a month .. ;) .. I also know I probably should not eat in front of the TV .. but I'm a multitasking kinda Guy .. :) ..
You eat where you want to eat. Nothing wrong with in front of the TV. DH and I been doing it for years.

When my son was growing up we always ate at the dining room table so we could visit and talk. But those days are long gone.

When I'm dining out, which isn't very often, I don't restrict myself, and I enjoy every decadent bite...;) I'm just very aware of my weaknesses and know what things I would be unable to resist if they were sitting in my kitchen...
Yup. Same here. My weaknesses are pasta and french fries.

Yes ... our grandson, Huxley. Oh, the photo's ... I'm just seeing them now from my computer ... it's the first time I posted pictures using tap-a-talk ... they came out way bigger than I expected.

Well, last night, I had to finally retire the Summer Wardrobe .. now, I'm back in Levis (I still have American Made 501's .. :)) .. a pocket t-shirt and a heavy duty work outer shirt, which I wear unbuttoned mostly .. the weight I've lost caused some belt tightening, and the ancient belt I wear had a nice indent where the buckle used to rest .. now, it's in an extra two notches .. :) .. problem is, the jeans are a bit lose .. Mr / Ms Google tell me that if I wash my jeans in the hottest water possible and then dry on a high heat setting, I should get some shrinkage .. we'll see ..

Temps are headed toward what looks like a pretty normal Winter here in Fly Over Country .. at least, according to the 30 day outlook .. so much for the Weather Prognosticators predicting a warmer than normal Winter .. o_O

As it's nearing the end of October, I still have not decided whether or not to do my Annual Winery Tour .. I can still hit the end of Octoberfest Time if I go this weekend .. the problem there is, the temps went from pretty warm to fairly chilly, and it happened PDQ .. I'll see if the draw of some good German food and some excellent wine tasting can drag me out on the road .. I've been doing it for 10 years or more, so it's a Tradition .. :) .. while it was still fairly warm, I just could not get in the mood ..
I actually had to switch to jeans myself today. Still wearing flip flops though. It's supposed to be back up to the 80s tomorrow. Oh well, back to shorts. The prognosticators say it's going to be another warmer than normal winter this year. Looks like I may not need too wear them again.

Nice :) .. any problems getting a Security Clearance .. ??

And what's that sliced up in his cup .. ?? a Hotdog .. ?? :)

Nope. Little Ritz crackers with, I think, peanut butter inside. Probably some broken up graham crackers or goldfish too. Never leave home without it!

Schlepping around the brass. I didn't even see any dust on that chopper.

Even in the coldest of winter…well ok…when it's down in the 50s I wear flip flops. But this morning I needed pants and long sleeves

Me too. The one I went to in Miami Beach included Conway Twiddy. He sneered right at me. I felt so special.

It was called The Shine of Stars and two labels from Shine got an almost free admission. Shine was something you were supposed to spray on your shoes to make them all shiny, and between Miami and Miami Beach, I bet you couldn't have found 5 cans of Shine that still had their labels.

Nermal!!! I was just sipping some coffee when i read your first three sentences...and spewed coffee all over my screen :D

I'm guessing that because pasta is a staple in our home 2-3x a week in one dish or another, our systems are used to it without affecting us too much. French fries are something we MAY have every now and then.
Oh, my tomatoes are looking so sad, too!

Way ahead of you on that .. I fell asleep in the Recliner last night and woke up about Midnight .. I was watching a couple shows I normally watch, "American Horror Story" and "Designated Survivor" .. had a few episodes stacked on the DVR .. however, they have gotten so boring, they have lost my attention, so, even though I was fully and completely straight, I nodded off .. the weird thing was, I woke up during the commercial breaks, fast forwarded through, and then, fell back asleep .. o_O

Then, I would wake up at the end of the shows and delete them from the DVR .. o_O

At any rate, that "More Than a Catnap" sleep time caused me to wake up this AM at 6:00 .. an hour I generally don't see too often .. :(
