At any rate, that "More Than a Catnap" sleep time caused me to wake up this AM at 6:00 .. an hour I generally don't see too often ..
Then who wakes up the birds??

I've been up and awake since 6:00....just poured the last cup of the pot I brewed as soon as I stumbled into the kitchen....![]()

Red, my departed avi cat, used to wake me around 4:30 every morning, standing on my chest and meowing to go out. While I was working, that was ok, since I got up around then anyway. But he never could figure out that weekends didn't count. Kept trying to convince him that if the coffee didn't start (always prepped the night before workdays, so it was ready when I got up!) I didn't have to get up early, so maybe it was just that he wanted his morning brew.... although more likely he wanted out for his morning mouse.
I've been going full speed since 6:00...I'm up at 5-6 every morning, but that doesn't mean I stay up!
If we have something to do, I will stay up even though my pillow is still beckoning me, but will definitely have a nap that afternoon!
I gain weight just looking at pastaI'm guessing that because pasta is a staple in our home 2-3x a week in one dish or another, our systems are used to it without affecting us too much. French fries are something we MAY have every now and then.
Oh, my tomatoes are looking so sad, too!
Hi Dennis, long time no see!
I have jeans and socks/walking shoes, short sleeved sweater and a sweater over that.......oh yea, it be cold for us Floridians.
I gain weight just looking at pasta. We used to eat it as much as you…filling and cheap but I piled on the weight because my reality is that I can't eat just a little. French fries OTOH I get once a week when we go out to eat at our favorite restaurant
.
Well...it's official....I have no heat...I've reported it... it remains to be seen how long it will take them to fix it. The digital thermostat they installed two years ago, appears to have died. Blank screen with no readout.... I know they won't want to send anyone out on the weekend, but dang!! On Monday the high is only predicted to be 56....

Does it maybe have an internal battery to keep the "program" through a power outage? Maybe just needs to be replaced?

Excellent tip....if there weren't a lock box on it preventing me any access...When it was installed, I was told that by law, they don't have to set it for any higher than 65....I talked him into 68. What's quite interesting is that I received a letter from the Borough that they will be doing an inspection next month and there was a form I was required to answer, fill out, and mail back. One of the questions..."does the heater maintain heat (minimum 70 degrees) ?...
