Good morning! I'm the first one here!
There's an old saying: the early bird catches the worm....I have a revulsion for worms, ever since my brother tried to stick one down my blouse and I punched him in the face, he went bawling to our mom and I got a spanking!:confused:
So I try to sleep in...
Hope everyone has a good day!

Good morning everyone! :)
I fell again this week. I was more worried about my vape than my body. My back and knees aren't happy with me. I think it might be time to seriously look into knee replacement. I was told 30 years ago both knees needed replacement but I was too young. By the time I was old enough I was too scared to have it done.

Good morning, all. It appears we will have sunshine with a high in the upper 50s. Friday will be the next day with a serious prediction of rain and of course heavy storms. I really need to clean out the wimp cellar. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

I have no aversion to worms either but I'm not going to eat them.

Well, if and when the Apocalypse gets here, I won't cross them off my list ..

I used to watch a show called 'Fear Factor' where the contestants ate some, er, pretty unusual stuff ..

Hi everyone. Woke up to a beautiful day, but the weather report said we could get severe storms this afternoon. Looking out the back windows about 1:00 the sun was shining brightly and I hear a big boomer! I look to the west and the black clouds were rolling in! Had some more rumbles and for 5 minutes we had a deluge and then poof! Blue skies to the west and the sun was shining again. Felt like I was back in Colorado.

Good morning everyone! :)

Oh no, are we going to have to send you a big box of bubble wrap? Glad you didn't break anything. Most people I've talked to who have had knee replacements lament that they should have had it long ago.

Hola .. :)

Well, the snow / sleet came and went pretty fast .. after the cold snap the next few nights, it may actually be time to drag out the deck plants ..

Yeah, looks like the last gasp of winter. I was tempted, but didn't put my plants out yet. It's a good thing because we're going down to freezing tonight and tomorrow. Right after the storm blew through at 1:00 the temp dropped like a rock.

That storm got to us about 4. It’s gone now.

We are in Timonium MD for an outdoor dog show. We set up the booth tomorrow. Freezing temps and wind. We Floridians are going to wait until noon when the temps are hopefully in the 50s. Geordi still has to go potty in the morning! I have leggings for under my jeans, a heavy sweatshirt and several sweaters. Didn't expect this cold so didn't pack right. But I will be OK.

Last week we were in Perry GA. Had a good show $$ wise and I showed Geordi in his last conformation hurrah. He has been having prostrate problems and the best solution in to neuter him. Yes, there is a drug he could be on to help, but I can't justify keeping him on a drug to just keep him intact. We won Best of Breed every day and 2 "group" placements. He does not enjoy it, he does it for me, and being neutered we can still do our performance stuff, which he does enjoy.

The other side is I am getting a puppy, a boy, arranged before Geordi's problems were discovered. We will road trip to Massachusetts, where he is, in mid -
May to get him. Planning the trip up as a fun seafood trip (we have fave restaurants in cities along the way), get Rocket (story for when I am on my laptop) and head home.

So, although I am sad Geordi is having these health problems, it is an easy solition. I still have goals of fun with him, and I have a new journey to plan and enjoy. Besides, Geordi will love having a playmate, and he will always be my cuddle bug.

    Morning all.

Another clear and sunny day, although back down to "normal" temps. Rain in the latest guess maybe Saturday. Hasn't dropped below 40 overnight all week, so maybe winter is done, as is our first summer. Guess we're rolling back to spring, since the trees are greening up, not browning.

Good morning all. I'll be really happy when this cold snap passes and we get the warmth of spring. I have some changes planned and they will require warm weather to complete. One of the things I have planned is to get rid of my above-ground pool. I haven't opened it for the last three summers and the liner is ripped and torn. The other isn't a priority, my little pop-up camper has extensive water damage and I am going to salvage some of the items then tear it down and make a trailer out of it. Like I said, plans for when the weather is warmer. I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

Cold snap here too. I'm more than ready for warmer weather. I don't find our current 35 any part of warm.
