Good morning all. It looks to be a beautiful day, with temps near 80°, sunny, and a nice breeze. Since it is going to be so nice I'm going to spend some time taking care of the lawn.

A couple of months ago, I ordered some pool-skimmer cotton sleeves for use in my shop vac. They fit over the existing filter and catch the small particles. They are supposed to extend the life of the filters. Anyone who has a shop vac knows how expensive the filters are. As a person who makes small pieces of wood out of bigger pieces knows how much sawdust is generated. I spend time trying to tap out the sawdust and also blow it out with the air compressor. Anyway, yesterday I received a second batch of the sleeves. I only ordered one batch and received them soon after I ordered them. I do believe I have a lifetime supply of cotton sleeves for the shop vac.

I hope everyone has an enjoyable and restful Sunday. Stay safe and well.

I never ran across this before. At first I thought it was some extraordinary photoshopping. But nope it's real. It started in the 40's with pencil drawings for circus acts. Then seemed to really take off in the 60's in Tailland. Amazing. There's lots of YouTube and background vids too not just elephants painting.

Hi all! Figured it was time to check in for the year! We are fine. Finally able to get our 1st vacation tomorrow. I've only been trying to get an appointment since December last year. No changes to report. Still vaping my HexOhms & K5's. Still house & pet sitting for mrfriends, although they've had to cancel all of the times for cruises & vacations for the last year. There is one that makes short trips to see family. I sure miss all my pups! We have a new pup in the family. My youngest sister finally got another golden. She lost Sara 2 years ago to cancer. Sara was my RA nurse. She'd check my joints looking for hot spots & then try to lock them well. [emoji1787][emoji1787] The new girl is Sadie. She's a white golden retriever. They are called English Cream, & have an better cancer history than the yellows. I call her Sadiesaurus. I took care of she & her bulldog brother for a week shortly after they got her. She chewed up my right arm trying to play too rough. I was bleeding all over everything. Can't wait give her another try!

How are all of you? Catch me up!

I remember watching Ivan 'paint' before he left Tacoma.

The elephant is a better artist.

Maybe if we could talk to him he could explain his vision for that particular painting.

Good morning. It's a chilly 38 here, going up to a sunny 60 today. Yesterday I severely trimmed back the plectranthus plants that wintered over inside. I set them out on the deck and left them out and they seem to have survived the 38 degree temps quite well. They'd grown so much I could hardly see out of my windows and I was getting tired of the daily up of all the leaves and tiny flowers they'd drop. Next year I'll just take a couple cuttings and by Spring they'll be a manageable size to take outside.

We got someone in to do the clean up, weeding and mulching yesterday. It looks so pretty out there this morning and I'm not all crippled over with pain! Over the years I've loved doing all the gardening, but it's just way too much to take care of now. Those beds are all the way down on the ground and my knees and back don't operate too well down there anymore.

Dang, Kenna, had to read that three times to realize you meant vaccination! ;) About time!

Just be sure Sadiesaurus doesn't get your arm again! :w00t:

Good afternoon all. It is overcast and mid-70s outside. I think I will sit outside with my dog and do a little whittling.

Never know what is going to be in my mailbox. I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I did. I thought this was amazing and couldn't help but to share it.

@Uncle Willie, I hope you find something that you love that is in your budget.

I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

    Good afternoon,

Not too much goin on here, but did get out this morning and prepared my 2 cu.ft of soil with several amendments. Have one more to add which I thought I had, but nope, not there.....must have used it all.....so ordered more Azomite this morning.
A bit on the chilly side, but perfect gardening weather......my hands, even with gloves on, are already feeling the effects.

[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] spelling on this tablet changes words without asking. I reset in settings & updates change it back. 1 jab down & 1 to go on May 28th. Then about 30 days after that & I can get to the line of Dr's waiting on me!
Everyone sounds good! Glad to see you all still here! [emoji8]

Oh how beautiful! You must feel so much joy just walking into your greenhouse each day!

Isn't it great messing around in the dirt? It's so satisfying and peaceful, well, except for the nasty weeds, but even those are satisfying when you pull them out and then everything looks so nice and clean.

Good morning all. It looks like I'm the first online this morning. I hate my body, I do one little chore and now I'm out of it. I did get about 10 pounds of acorns out of the gutter alongside the garage. Up and down the ladder did in my knees.

I have no plans for the day but I'm sure something will come up. Actually, I do need to make some e-juice. I'm just not sure what I want to make. I think I will venture over to ELR and see what suits my taste buds.

I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

@Kenna good to see you again and I'm glad you are doing well. Until you can go back to dog sitting check this out. It's one of three puppy cams at the Warrior Canine Connection. (Home - Warrior Canine Connection) This is a non profit that raises service dogs for wounded warriors. A very worthy group. Right now there are three litters…you can watch one at each cam.

@Janet H yes it makes me happy to walk into the GH. Between the GH, the flower beds and the veggie garden I spend about 2 hours outside every day. It's my sanity restorer.

    Hola .. :)

Headin' out to the Big City to look at a guitar collection .. probably more money than I can swing, but, nothing ventured, nothing gained ..

Gee! You can have my collection for free if you want it. You don't even have to travel to pick it up, I'll gladly put it in the post for you.
