Morning, all.

Between storms, so back out. Actually, yesterday was only scattered, and managed to get rid of the latest burn pile. Time to gather more... :(

[emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787] spelling on this tablet changes words without asking. I reset in settings & updates change it back. 1 jab down & 1 to go on May 28th. Then about 30 days after that & I can get to the line of Dr's waiting on me!
Everyone sounds good! Glad to see you all still here! [emoji8]

From what I've read it seems that two weeks after the second dose gets you to full immunity, if that's what you're waiting for :)

Did you find anything you would like to buy?

Well, I'd like to buy it all .. :) .. most folks that are into these things are "You can't be too thin or have too many guitars .." .. however, my days of playing at any level at all are, sadly, behind me ..

Good morning all. It looks like I'm the first online this morning. I hate my body, I do one little chore and now I'm out of it. I did get about 10 pounds of acorns out of the gutter alongside the garage. Up and down the ladder did in my knees.

I have no plans for the day but I'm sure something will come up. Actually, I do need to make some e-juice. I'm just not sure what I want to make. I think I will venture over to ELR and see what suits my taste buds.

I hope everyone has a good day. Stay safe and well.

As the ole saying goes: "old age ain't for sissies"!
    I, too, have to "work" in increments...do a chore/take a break/do a chore/take a break/do a chore/take a long break..:)
It's sunny again today...I just might go outside later on and do a chore!

    or not...

You speak as though the pandemic is over and done with. I admire your optimism.

    Edited .. :p

.. the truth is, during much of the Covid Days, I had pretty well cocooned myself into my own self-created Alternate Universe .. while I did not grow a beard down to my chest and I did change clothes and shower, it was somewhat of a hermit like life .. post-vaccine, I have begun to expand my sphere in baby-steps ..

This is one of the reasons that masking up never became automatic with me .. I don't know how many times I ended up walking back to the truck to get a mask .. in the Winter, I would generally have one shoved in a pocket ..

I guess it was good exercise ..

On a side note, PBS Frontline "The Virus That Shook The World", I think a two parter, is airing now .. part 2 comes out tonight .. well worth a watch ..

Same here. I mostly remember the mask when I see someone else wearing one.

Not alone there, Willie. We tend to be pretty much hermits most of the time, and "shifted" our twice a month big shop to once a month. But we have actually gone into sit-down restaurants a whopping 3 times since we got our shots. Used to be the highlight of the town run.

At least your alternate universe didn't claim covid was fake :)

Good morning. It's going up to 86 today! The coldest night temp for the next 10 days will be 47. Time to put the plants out on the deck! I put the hummer feeder out yesterday to catch the early arrivals. Last year I spotted a hummer hanging around the spot where the feeder was the year before and had to scramble to make some nectar.

Willie, loved your video then and now.

This is weird. 4 weeks ago I had tonsillitis. Took a 10 day course of amoxicillin that fixed me right up. Yesterday afternoon it came back! Figured I'd call the doc this morning, but I'm actually feeling somewhat better. What the heck?
