Cloudy day here, but did get the grass shaved yesterday, so good on that until, uh, Sunday??

We're also getting 30s and 40s at night, but often into the 80s during the day. The difference seems to be due to the 5,000 foot elevation, low humidity, and moderately clear skies.
It is a sad, sad commentary when a certain faction of the Elected honchos, kow tow to former POTUS and, at the same time, attempt to change election rules in order to sway things in their direction .. as well as directly going after those in their own Party that (how dare they) speak out against said former POTUS ..
Toe the line or 'yer out 'a here .. so we can bring in someone else that is more of a yes person ..
Who cares if you may have done a credible and honorable job, we only want people like us ..

Woooohooooo! That song was a hit when I went to my first concert to see Steppenwolf! I was 15 & it was a PARTY! (echo party...party...party...) A whole new world opened before me...& trouble ensued.

Steppenwolf was my favorite band as a teen.
We really are living in strange times. Today I needed to go to our credit union to deposit 2 checks. Haven't been to the new branch in awhile. So, today we arrived to find the door locked! A woman came to the door and yelled through the door to ask what we wanted before she'd unlock the door to let us in! Turns out an appointment is required to do anything other than simple deposits. Since we hadn't deposited checks there before she took us to 5 wall screens separated by privacy walls (like booths). She filled out the deposit slip and put it and the checks in the tube that was sucked up and sent to one of the tellers located on the other side of the privacy walls. Boom! The teller appeared on the screen talking to me like she was in the booth! (I've used the tubes before, but only in the drive-thru.) At least I could see her whole face because she didn't need a mask to appear on the screen. Pretty soon we won't be having any in-person interactions with people! I already check out my purchases in Wegman's on my phone and skip the check-out lines. Strange times.

Clearing up today, yesterday's scattered showers all seemed to stack up here, so we get a break from watering for a day or so. May even break into the low 70s.

Good morning David. It's a chilly 52 here and looks like the other morning when I woke to blue skies and sunshine and now it looks like it's going to pour rain any minute.

Yesterday was clear and sunny. Until you got the rake out, then black skies and deluge. Nope, no gradual increase, just dump! But mid 60s, so at least not real cold...

Good morning. It's overcast here and looks like it's going to rain any minute.
In a week I'll be going to South Carolina to visit with with my sister for 9 days. 2 days after I return we're going with the family to a house we all rented in Ocean City, NJ for a 2 week vacation. So, this week I have to make 4 double batches of suet for the birds. That's a lot of suet, but we seem to be having a larger variety of birds this year and I don't want to discourage them from coming.
