Couldn't sleep either, so thanks for posting something. Anything.Good morning. Very early morning at that. I got no sleep last night and little the night before. I was dead tired, so I laid down for a nap at about 5 pm. I woke up at 11 pm. So here I am at 2 am cruising the internet.
Hux has his last soccer game on Saturday. It's the first time we've been happy is game is at 8:30 a.m. Mike is coming down for it and afterward we'll head home. It's amazing how much these 5 year olds have improved since the first practice. The coach is amazing. Where was he when our kids were playing! You can tell he's an accomplished soccer player and he teaches high school. He's fabulous with the kids and very creative in the practices. Mike used to play soccer many moons ago. He's going to be impressed. And Hux gets SO excited when they score a goal. It's a riot.
I had no idea what my grandson and his fiancé might need for baby Carmen, so I went to Target and picked up a card and a gift card. I know it is an effortless way of doing it but for me, it is better than the alternative and then having them return the gift for exchange.
I like single-pot meals. I find it much easier to reheat a meal than trying to figure out what I want each day and cooking for one.
Dad used to put his handcuffs on my feet and tickle me. To this day if you tickle me. . . I have to go tinkle. heehee I think he still has his handcuffs. Hmmmm. The patrolman told him, "No, we're not the Americans." I got a good laugh out of that.
I like single-pot meals.
I think it is a good idea because you don't know what they need. Personally, I am not fond of gift cards. I prefer cash. Then I can go where ever I want to. I horde gift cards. Save them because maybe one day I won't have the money to eat or something. I really need to go ahead and use them. I have checked to make sure they are still good. I could take myself on a date to TGIF, Cracker Barrel, Panera Bread, or Olive Garden.I know it is an effortless way of doing it but for me, it is better than the alternative and then having them return the gift for exchange.
If by good you mean grocery shop, fillup the car at $4.29 a gallon gas and have swamp a s s, yeah it has been a good day.I hope everyone has a good day.
That was disgusting and hilarious. That should probably be in the top 10 funny movie scenes. It is a classic.Cowboys ate beans every day, and maybe still do ..![]()
I thought you were kidding but no, it really is a day. YAY! I like that one. It's National Streaming Day ..![]()
My son didn't mention a gift registry.I tend to lean that way as well, unless, maybe, they have a gift register somewhere.
I did not want to trust cash. Cards can get "lost" going through the mail. Well, I have done it a $20 but for the amount I sent It would be difficult to replace if it did get lost.I prefer cash. Then I can go where ever I want to.
Oh never in the mail. Sorry, I did not know you were mailing it. I thought your son lived close to you. BTW, how is the little precious angel doing? You need to practice giving updates Grandpa. hint, hintI did not want to trust cash.
