We have 64° partly cloudy with 75% chance of showers. Can spring be far behind?

Hola .. :)

Although we are around what might be considered 'normal' for this time of year, don't think Spring is quite in the cards just yet ::

Good morning my friends! It's been a while since I've posted!
It's been raining here in Mi. for days! NO snow for Christmas!! Actually..no snow this year so far! I used to downhill ski, ice skate, snowmobile ride...I'm sort of glad that I'm old now and have health issues that keep me from
doing all the winter fun things. But I feel sorry for the young people here in Mi., and the winter time businesses that are'nt doing any business.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas!
Off to play some computer Eurchre on-line now..excersize my poor ole brain..

Golly, Rat, you're starting to sound like someone from the PNW.
I had to google that. Do you mean Pacific Northwest? If so, I do like it there. But I would like anywhere that had water. Coast, mountains, or a hot tub on my future patio.

Maybe I need to learn how to play that because my brain has been on the fritz lately. I filled up my tooter today and forgot to twist it closed. I have not found where I spilled the 5.5 ml of juice yet. Sheesh!

Well, it seems I sort of say "Goodnight" to myself here so I will also say "Good morning" to myself too.

Woke up to a foggy day but it is supposed to get up to 63. Might be a good day to play around with the Exmark monster. It is about time because I blew the gutters out when I got back from the coast and there were hardly any leaves in them. Thank goodness, gutter-blowing season is over.

 Have a great day!

Oh, my friend took me to the Wednesday church dinner for $5 last night and it was wonderful. I don't see how they make any money on this meal. Everything I have had there has been delicious. I can't think of anywhere you can get meat, 2 veggies, dessert, and tea for $5. They just hand you a plate and you go through the line. I hate to admit but my plate was rather full last night. I can't remember the last time I had fried okra.

I love food!

Morning, all.

More rain, and they say that's the guess for the rest of the week.

Yes, Pacific Northwest :) And instead of a hot tub, maybe one that has waves :)

Here's some tricks for stealth vaping: carry a small towel (or even a terry washcloth) and fold it for several thicknesses. Exhale through that and there is no visible cloud. Reasonably discrete vaping can be done in some of the most impossible places. Unless someone is watching you with intent to discover, you can cover the mouthpiece of your vaping rig with a forefinger and not draw attention to yourself.

A caveat: if you are hooked up to monitoring equipment (as in a hospital) a couple of good puffs will momentarily raise your heartrate (tachycardia). I've had a nurse rush in to look me over. I just said "nicotine tachycardia" and she shrugged and left. I don't know why she didn't ask me where I got the nicotine.
Thanks for the tips - I would never have thought of the towel/washcloth trick. I crept into the restroom, and since there was no one else in there, decided to hide in one of the stalls and have a few puffs. I was fanning my vapor around like it was a big cloud of smoke. It brought back memories of smoking in the bathroom at high school!

Maybe the nurse thought you had some nicotine gum? I doubt that would spike your heart rate like taking a long puff off of a vape, though. Unless maybe you were blowing bubbles with it…

It was an absolutely gorgeous day here. Between the gym and taking a walk with my ex-bro-in-law, I walked almost 6 miles today. I think I needed that fresh air and Vitamin D because I feel positively peppy. View attachment 987893

Hope everyone has a nice evening.
I’m glad you had a lovely trip! Your pep and happiness must be contagious because I sways smile when I read your posts. I am secretly hoping to absorb some of that pep…just thinking about walking six miles makes me want to take a nap!

I hope so and reading yours made me smile too! Thank you.

Believe me, I never thought walking would be one of my obsessions. And I surely never thought it would get me through some challenging times but it did.

Last week while I was gone I did not stop eating long enough to take my walks and by the end of the week, I could tell a difference. Of course, it could have also been constipation but I really think it was the walking.

You do not have to walk as far or as long as I do to get the benefits. I started out with slow, short walks a couple of times a day. The fresh air does anyone good.

Just my
two cents.gif
but I never have a problem stealth vaping. I take a toot and before I exhale, I take another toot. When I exhale there is no visible vaper. Sweaters/shirts can come in handy too! heehee

Morning, lizards.

While a bit windy and wet, nothing like our friends to the south are getting. The heavy winds predicted for yesterday didn't happen here, no complaints!

Yeah, we tootlers don't have much problem stealthing, just hold your breath a bit. :)

Good morning. Hey Willie, we're about the same temps around here. The past 3 days have been a nice respite from the bitter cold, but winter ain't over yet. Feb. seems to be our month for snow so we'll see.

Last night we took the boys for their 1st Jujitsu class. It was a riot! So glad we got to watch. Of course little Brody was most impressed with the slippery padded floor... Such fun to slide around on! This place has a membership so they can go as many times as they want so it looks like we'll be going again on Sat.

Maybe I need to learn how to play that because my brain has been on the fritz lately. I filled up my tooter today and forgot to twist it closed. I have not found where I spilled the 5.5 ml of juice yet. Sheesh! View attachment 987849
Ugh! I hate it when I do that! Fortunately it doesn't happen often, but it's baffling when the missing juice disappears, but that usually happens if it's in my pocket!

The last time I forgot to close it I'd set the PV down on the table while using another one and when I came back to it later noticed that the juice had just leaked out the bottom of the tank onto the table. That leaking probably has to do with the air pressure inside the tank?

We just finished watching 2 seasons of Ted Lasso. A good funny series to watch with some decent character development along the way.

Started watching season 1 of Jack Ryan again. Never did watch the follow on seasons. It’s been so long since watching season 1 we’re starting over from the beginning.
