Good morning all! I weighed this morning and it told me I needed to go to the gym loud and clear.

So I am looking forward to an intense workout. Not much else planned for today and that is okay with me. I have torn up enough stuff for a while.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning, misfits.

Looks to be a dry day for a change, so there's a rake with my name on it...

Thank you and maybe I will pop in sometime. I never got back into the mixing though. It was too tempting to read about all those flavors. I am just a plain o'l menthol kinda gal. Now I am so busy trying not to be busy that I don't have time to mix. View attachment 988972 (but I am having fun) View attachment 988974

I am thinking about lowering my nic to 18mg. I have been vaping 24mg for 9 years. Now that things have settled down so much, I could probably do it.

Shouldn't be much of an issue doing that. I started my transition at 18, but that wasn't quite enough, so switched to 24. After some months there, and successfully making the switch, I bumped down to 18 and really didn't notice. Although I'm still there, and don't plan on reducing it any :)

Good morning. Well, I got the boys off to their schools. Mike just left for his doc appt and I'm going up shortly to shower and get ready for my doc appt. Both appts are an hour away. Makes for a confusing morning with switching cars so we had the proper car seats. I've got to stop for gas, that's never fun at these prices. At least the next 2 days should be less complicated.

Torey, sounds like you had a productive day yesterday. I'd think shivering would use up calories. Maybe your scale would have registered higher if you hadn't shivered? That's my theory and I'm stick'n to it.

Morning all! We got about 5" of snow, but it was the heavy, wet stuff. We did it in 2 passes on the driveway - the first with about 3" while there was still a bit of daylight to make it easier. Based on what they showed on the weather map, FranC got a lot more so I can't complain (too much).

It was a pretty drive into work with the snow draped on the trees. It won't last long, and I was tempted to just keep driving, listening to tunes and not actually go to work!

Like Rat2Chat, I need to hit the gym. My back was had troubles on and off for the past 2 months (good now). But because I was worried about doing too much, I really focused on using my arms & legs (like you're supposed to do), and now my arms and legs are sore. Hopefully I'll recover in time for the storm that comes Wednesday afternoon and into the night. Heck, who needs a gym at this rate? LOL.

Well, hopefully you will find time to drop in sometime. Surprised your still at 24mg. I had some 24 when I started but quickly lowered to 18 mg. These days I’m down to 6mg and intend to stay there.

Finished another one of my January doctor checkups. He said everything look fine. That's always good to hear from one of your specialist doctors. Shwew! I think I have almost 2 week without seeing another doctor after see 1 or 2 each week so from this year. Then a month break an see the finally specialist for a 6 month checkup. Then hopefully no more doctor visits 'till next year.

Yep, I'm with David ... I've always heard it as 'white coat syndrome' and yep I got it.

Good morning. It's 34 going to 54 today with rain and snow showers and winds up to 40 mph. I'm so glad our running around happened yesterday! Today is laundry day so we'll be staying inside. Maybe I'll make something delicious from the rotisserie chicken sitting in the fridge,

I think when we started vaping we were at 18 and 24 for awhile, but after several months went down to 12 and have stayed there. If we went lower we found we were vaping a lot more so 12 seems to be our sweet spot.

Yesterday I had a fright. Our daughter got hung up at work so she called me to meet the bus to pick up 6 yo Huxley. I arrived early, parked at the bus stop which is along a very busy highway. The bus arrived, the door opened, Hux didn't get off and the bus drove away! I pulled out to follow the bus, but the traffic was heavy so I lost the bus. So, I pulled a U-turn to head to the school and Oh No! The bus must have gone around the block and was back at the bus stop! I couldn't cross the medial strip and by the time I pulled another U-turn the bus left again! I called Kate to call the school to find out what was happening. They radioed the bus and he finally came back and said Huxley didn't get up to get off the bus so that's why he left - even though the driver had to see me waiting there and getting out of the car! Hux is 6 years old! Turns out Hux was goofing with friends and forgot to get off. Pretty soon I'll have totally gray hair!

I think I could go down to 18 but I am not sure I could do 6. It would be nice though and definitely, my nic would last longer. I have a couple of months to decide since I made juice in October. For some reason, I am not vaping nearly as much as I used to. Maybe because my nerves are not being tested on a daily basis.

That would have scared the bejesus out of me and produced several more grays too. Bless your heart. So glad everything turned out okay. I imagine it scared your grandson too and he will be more aware. I hope.

It is rainy here but I am glad we are not having all the snow and ice I am reading about from so many on ecf. I am not sure I could handle all that white stuff. Of course, I'd rather have white stuff than ice. We have had another very mild winter but sometimes our worse months are February and March. I just as soon it goes straight to Spring. I am so looking forward to being able to plant flowers and some veggies. Of course, that means I'm going to have to stay home long enough to do it.

It would be wonderful if I had someone that could fix the 51 Farmall tractor. It was working when dad last used it (last summer) and then it would not crank so he had me put a new battery in it and it still does not work. Could be trash in the carburetor or some other little issue. Not sure if old gas could do it. I just know I could have a nice little garden if it was running and I learned how to drive it. It does not have a canopy but I bet I could do some damage with it too.

Maybe this o'l girl would do better just putting some plants in pots.

I am still considering building a chicken coop. I eat so many eggs and I never thought I would see eggs cost as much as they do today. It is ridiculous. I was paying $.53 a dozen last summer and almost $5 now. I would have to build a pretty sturdy coop because I have seen the fox that my aunt feeds. I took a picture one night and it is pretty darn big. I don't mind feeding animals but I'm not running a chicken all-you-can-eat buffet.

    Morning, loungers.

Dang, another dry day, and still no sun. More yard work, and might even have enough piled up to start the bon fire later this week. If it stays dry that long!

Similar for me, although different levels. Lower it any more, and it's even more continuous than otherwise.

Could be trash in the carburetor or some other little issue. Not sure if old gas could do it.

It cranks but doesn't start? If it ran last summer, I don't think bad gas would be an issue, although if it's grabbed some water from the air, maybe. Check for spark?

I have what might be termed 'Dr's Office Paranoia' .. when the nurse initially checks my BP, it's always stupid high .. like 175/115 .. she then makes me sit for 10 minutes and breath .. once my Feng Shui kicks in, it gets back down to about 125/75 .. which is good enough ..
It might be simpler than that. Rising from the chair in the waiting room, walking down the hall to the examination room can raise yolur BP for a whi;le. Especially added to the walk in from the parking lot if that was also recent.

I think I am over the little stomach bug I have had. First time I have driven the porcelain bus since the time I tried to quit smoking on New Year's eve a long time ago. I chained smoked the last couple of hours and made myself sick as a dog. This was nothing compared to that time, thank goodness.

I guess it is not the correct way to lose weight but it has been nice not having an appetite the last couple of days. I got rid of my New Year's oinkfest poundage. YAY!

I have been home since Monday and this is a record for me since dad has passed. It has been sort of nice. I did hate missing the chicken pot pie at the church with Terry last night but I could not take the chance of passing it on to the older folks that go to the church dinners. Terry offered to bring me a plate but I would even let him do that. I am forever the professional caregiver.

As bad as I wanted to go (and I thought I was okay) I still end up doing the right thing and staying home.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

    Morning, lizards.

Still gray and dry here, for a couple more days they say. All the debris piles are drying nicely, so I might be able to get that done. Before then next storms bring down more...
