Gee, Rat. Does the tractor not work? Then you could have hooked up the attachments and pulled them to the new location.
I could not do what you do so kudos to you.

Sure would have been nice if it had but of course he never let me drive it either. It was running first of last year when he parked it and then when he had me go crank it, it would not start. I bought a new battery for it but that is not it either. I think it is something simple. Could be bad gas or trash in the carburetor. I have pretty much retired from my mechanic job. I am even going to pay to have my oil changed. heeheeDoes the tractor not work?
I had to show pictures to my aunt this morning because she was shocked that I had moved them.I could not do what you do so kudos to you.
Yes, there is and I am sure I will consider that one day. Along with the old Bushhog, Troy-Built chipper, yard vacuum etc. The tractor has been kept in a shed and is pretty dirty but would clean up nicely.there’s a ‘market’ for old tractors
Instead, probably others watch me and more than likely laughed at the boot-scootin' boogie technique I use to move heavy objects. Yeah, I'm hearing Brooks & Dunn in my head.watched while someone else moved them.
I like the way you think.Plus you’d have some extra $’s for new shoes.
Thank you. I woke up so many times that I lost count so it was not exactly a good night. But at least I did not oversleep and not hear the alarm, since the internet man is coming between 8 and 10. I am up and ready.G'night, Rat.
That’s quite a picture.Hola ..
We that reside in Fly Over Country, have to really savor the flavor when it comes to rarely seen sky events .. but, sometimes, the tide is right, the Moon phase is good and general weather just seems to come together ..
Last week, after a fairly turbulent storm rolled thru, I got home from the workshop and me and the dog went out the back door to crack a cold one on the deck and partake of some substance.. (no, the dog did not get a beer or any substance, unless she got a contact high) ..
I quickly rushed back in the house and got my actual camera and managed to snag this shot before things began to dissipate .. it was probably around 7:00 PMish ..

LOL. I saw that.Hola ..
If you look at the upper left corner, you will see the circular exit space created by the Alien Mothership that spun up out of the atmosphere post-storm ..![]()
I’ve seen some houses really decorated but I think that has them beat,From the 'It's Your Thing, Do What You Wanna Do' file ::
During the Holiday season, there are those that decorate their outdoor space and then there are those that really decorate their outdoor space .. this particular family, who lives in what we used to call 'the wrong side of the tracks' fall into those that really decorate their outdoor space .. it could be called Christmas on steroids as it relates to old school hollow plastic yard art ..
When you go to see it, you really have to seek it out .. it is not part of some street wide or neighborhood display plan .. it sits on it's own, an island of joy in a rough and tumble area comprised of ladies of bad repute, gang issues, etc .. so, making a visit is not for the faint of heart ..
The Spirit of Christmas Kung Fu is, apparently, strong in this small house, and I try and remember to go and check it out every December .. I toss safety to the wind and get out of the truck ..
The Capitalist in me wonders if there is some collector value, since I don't think these type plastic yard ornaments are much in demand or production anymore .. yet, apparently, the neer-do-wells that reside around and about leave these alone .. maybe the owners have surveillance cameras and are packing heat, or these plastic pieces of kitsch are, in fact, fairly worthless ..
At any rate, it brings me a small, free degree of happiness to see it .. and I salute the owners for not only taking the time and effort, but picking up the electric bill as well ..
I found these shots on my actual camera SD card yesterday as I was digging thru the files ..

I'm baaaaack
Bodes well for the next day's weather, "red sails in the morning, sailors take warning, red sails at night, sailor's delight."
Burned up more miles yesterday, 14 hours got me home just after 8. Only a few snow flurries at the top of the Siskiyous, roads just bare and wet, not a big problem. Just a long haul

At least it won't be 90 when I go out to vape. (Well, at home I don't have to.)
So very nice to hear from your. Brought a smile to my face just seeing your avi as I scrolled down the page.Well, hello everyone!
I've been MIA for quite awhile and like anyone else, do have a lot of stories to tell, but alas, methinks I've forgotten half of them.
So, making this 'hello' quick and short, but wanted to let you know I've been thinking of you all.
Oh yes..........One story I haven't forgotten: We have a wild boar visiting our neighborhood and a lot of us have either decided not to walk, or go elsewhere. I opted for the latter......each morning after Mass, I walk my two miles in the Church parking lot.....hey, what could be safer?! LOL No moving vehicles, no hogs and close to the Man!! I call that a win-win situation.
Later!!![]()

No animal control?
I don't know how it is in other places, but around these parts, 'Animal Control' is a joke .. 7 full time employees that will only deal with stray dogs and cats .. you get some real need for animal control and you're SOL .. been that way for decades ..
