Well, at least I ended the day being productive. Edged both sides of the fence in front of the house and my lot beside me. I need to get some weed killer and spray it. Although I must say it looks really nice with what I did to it tonight.
Who calls someone at 10:00 at night and asks you to put a new spool on their weedeater? My aunt.
She said I could come tomorrow but if that had been the case, she would have called tomorrow. She wants to get out a weed-eat before it gets too hot and I don't blame her.
Not sure what I'm going to do for excitement this weekend. I might go listen to live music like I did last weekend. I did enjoy myself and thank goodness, I didn't get into any trouble.
Sure is quiet around here. Good thing I don't get lonely easily.

Good morning everyone. Geez, I went to sleep about midnight last night and woke up at 8:10 this morning!! What?? I'm always up between 6-6:30 unless I'm having one of those can't sleep at all nights. Wish I could figure out how last night happened so it would happen more often.
Our exciting plans for this weekend involves going to our daughters on Saturday to bring our trailer and the snow blower and whatever else back here. They need the room in the garage to stage their vacation stuff. Then on Sunday we'll go back and celebrate Hux's 7th birthday at the community pool. Fortunately it looks like we'll have beautiful weather both days.
My amber bottles arrived yesterday so I'll finally be able to make juice today. I didn't want to mix a small batch if I didn't have to. As long as everything has to come out to make either size it's better to make a huge batch and not have to do it again for many months.

Yeah, I'm down pretty low .. gonna mix it up this weekend .. I usually go for 6 months worth, but then, I'm only mixing for one .. still using nic from 2012, hope I don't grow and extra arm .. well, if I did, it could always come in handy, depending on where it sprouted from
Another hot day here. Had a good workout and just came home. Did laundry, which I have not done in weeks. Two loads and now they are hanging and neatly folded in the laundry room because I do hate putting clothes away.
I took a much-needed shower and decided to go listen to a man sing and play the guitar at the bar I have been to a couple of times. There were a few there that I had talked to before. Not much of a crowd. They even had free food tonight. Ham, baked beans, potato salad, and rolls. It looked good but I had already eaten and they did not have any chocolate on the table.
I really enjoyed the young man singing but left early and came on home.
Got in touch with an old friend in New Hampshire that I have not talked to in a long time. We are going to try to have a video chat tomorrow night. I wish he had asked me for tonight because I am having a good hair night.
I am still looking forward to having my little four-legged house guest. It is going to be so weird and probably a little sad. I still miss my two.

Had my specialist appt on Thursday. Apparently the echo revealed that in addition to the mild COPD I have something called pulmonary hypertension. Not terribly rare but pretty serious. It cannot be stopped or reversed but with medication the doc said I’ll “feel better”. Well managed it won’t affect my life length. The reality of course is that my level of activity will not be possible.

My friend in Bradenton has Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension, has had it since 2019. She is on oxygen 24/7 and still going and fairly active in the shih tzu clubs and things of interest. I haven't heard from her in awhile, I should check in with her.

I slept in this morning and I feel good. Ended up having a 5-hour video chat. It is funny how you can talk to someone that you have not talked to in a year and a half and it does not seem like any time has passed at all. You just pick up where you left off. It was nice but I am not going to go from one long-distance relationship into another. But a friendship is okay.
My cousin and her friend asked me if I wanted to meet them at Jason's Deli. That is a place I have never eaten and I am all for first times. It was really good. They had a huge salad bar and I got it because that was what they got. I probably decided on it because they had a soft-serve ice cream machine.
Cindy still has not told me what time she is going to drop off my little house guest even though I asked. Sometime today. Nothing much planned anyway. I told my cousin I would not be able to go out to eat with them like I usually do so she said she would just bring something down to my aunts. She did not say what she is bringing so I guess I will just be surprised.
I have got to stop going to the Temu website. I already have a 3rd order ready. My mailman delivered my last package Friday and he asked me what Temu was because he said he delivered those packages all over the place. I imagine he went home and checked it out. heehee It was sort of like Christmas. I loved everything I got from the flamingo shoes to my cell phone holder for the car that goes in the drink holder. I could have used a smaller size for the sundress but I may can sew the stretchy top part up and at least keep it from falling down. I like it.
Cindy is on her way so it should not be long now. It is going to be so weird having a dog in the house. I cannot believe it has been 2 years and 3 months since my Rachel passed. You know what? Time flies whether you or having fun or not.

My little guest seems to be fine. I have kept a close eye on her though. I took her down to my aunts because my cousin brought Bojangle's chicken. The little dog has had people food before because she can beg with the best of them. heehee She has three medications and eye drops. Thank goodness she takes them well with cheese. She does stumble a lot but it does not seem to bother her. Cindy brought a leash but she can't run so I have not used it. I just hope she sleeps well tonight. She randomly barks and scares me. Rachel only barked if there was a doorbell in real life or on the tv. I can already tell that I am not ready to get another animal. I may change my mind by Thursday.

FYI, you get a free return with each order and you can combine. So if you have done a return on one order, just add anything you want to return to another order. Hope that makes sense.
