You’re going to shoot your boob off kid …;)
You almost made me spit my coffee out with that one. Don't you worry. My number one concern is protection of the girls. This gun has one heck of a safety on it and I have absolutely no concern about that happening. Check out the video if you ever get some free time (it could happen). It is the North American Arms 22 mag Pug. I am not even worried about it firing with an accidental drop (and everyone knows how clumsy I am). Thank you for your concern though. It makes me feel good.
Anyhow, howcum there's only one person that can deliver it? I think I would be looking around for a new dealer.
I thought that was ridiculous also. If you sell a product, you should make sure there is someone there at all times. They could have lost a sale.

If I had not wanted this little gun for so long, I was mad enough to tell them to keep it. I could have gotten it a little cheaper somewhere else but I wanted to buy it there because they are such good friends with a friend of mine. I told my friend about it last night and he said he would take care of that and someone would hear about it. I told him I did not want to get anyone in trouble but I would be buying from somewhere else in the future.

They did actually lose a sale because I was going to buy a little 38 that I liked there. The 9mm, although a great cc gun, was just a tad bigger than what I was looking for. This man also lost something else because I showed him a picture of my 44 (that I have no desire to shoot) and he had asked me to bring it to him if I decided to sell it. Be snarky to me. I don't think so.

Well, I cannot complain about my little house guest last night. I had to wake her up this morning.
1YES.gif

Bless her heart. I put my hand on her belly a couple of times to make sure she was okay.

I also had a wonderful day and night. I did not get my steps in yesterday but did some hard work out in the sun. My aunt has been trying to cut down a huge Pompass Grass plant in the divorced woman's yard across the street from me. It would have taken her two more weeks so I went out there yesterday, tied the dog close to me in the shade, and got-r-done. My aunt was so grateful. She fixed me a tomato sandwich with chips and it was delicious. She has such a good time when we do things. It is sad that her own daughters do not take the opportunity.

When I was cooling off my friend Sharon texted me and want to go to Bonbon's (my fav restaurant) and I was going to tell her I would have to take a raincheck and my aunt told me to go and she would watch the dog. I was skeptical at first but I really think she was wanting to do something for me because of all I did for her yesterday so I let her.

Sharon and Kenny had never been there and they absolutely loved the place and what they ate. I knew they would. I got my buffalo shrimp salad. Omgosh. I had ordered it medium and thought I would try the hot because I like a little kick. It was so good. They have several hotter choices but this is just fine for me. I am not going to eat something if it makes me break out in a sweat.

Kenny was telling me that he went on a horse trail and the group went to this wings place and they ordered the "B U T T Burner" wings. He said the staff came out and watched them eat it. He said he had never had anything that hot and spicy. He ordered his Buffalo Chicken Wrap mild. I just love listening to his stories.

Sharon brought me a bag of tomatoes and cucumbers. She is so darn sweet. I have been so lucky with people sharing their produce with me.

It was also nice that when I came back to my aunts after supper, that little dog got so excited. She was dancing and wagging her tail. I had not seen her do that. Gwen, my aunt, said when I left the little dog whined at the door for a little bit and she put her in her lap and she was fine. I had forgotten how good it felt to be missed by something that loves you. I was worried about this little dog staying in a house she had never been to but she has acted pretty darn happy. I am glad she had a good time but I still don't want a house guest every time they go camping.

I am going to admit that I fell off the wagon on my shoe buying. But you know how I like flamingos and they will go with so many of my outfits. And they were only $14.98. I also got some flamingo earrings to complete the ensemble.

    Well, it could be worse...

Dang, if the cacti can't survive, what are humans doing there?

    Cute, are those from Temu?
Yes, they are. I was a little skeptical about sizing but since I could easily return them, I thought I would take a chance. They fit perfectly. I like flamingos (and shoes).

I did something I've never done today. Lost my Discover card at Sam's. Omgosh. How careless of me. I just called and canceled it after I asked at the desk. Discover expedited a card to me and I should get it tomorrow or the next day. No biggie, but I need to be more careful. Still not too awful bad since I've had a credit card for 45 years and never had this happen.

Sure was nice to get back to the gym this evening. With all the eating out I have been doing, I better get back at it. Tomorrow night I am going Cookout with my cousin and her friend. I will take my aunt with me too. Saturday night my cousin wants me to go with her and another friend to Applebee's but she does not want me to say anything to her mom. Doesn't matter to me. I have really enjoyed not having to cook and everyone does seem to be asking me to go out to eat. It's a shame it's all family and friends and not an interested male. It might be that I have been lucky.

I am back to a canine-free household. I sort of miss the little doggie but I definitely know I do not need any animals right now. The little sweetheart slept until I got tired of waiting for her to wake up. I think she enjoyed her stay here and I was glad I could help out a friend. She took her 3 grandchildren. I think I had the best end of the deal.

Does anyone have exciting plans for the weekend?

    Happy FRIDAY everyone.

    Morning, mixers.

Not much change in the weather here, so still can't complain. Much :) Rain would be good, but isn't on the agenda for some time.

not an interested male. It might be that I have been lucky.

Quite possibly, or maybe HE was lucky he didn't get shot?? ;)

Geez there sure is a lot of open land around here. We went to pick up a 4 drawer file cabinet from someone offering it on Facebook Market Place. Headed out and realized we didn't have the turnpike transponder so we took back roads. Beautiful winding roads. LOTS of corn growing. It took an hour to get there, but it was a pretty ride.

Tomorrow we're picking up our son's 2 boys to have a sleep over. It'll be the first time in our new house so this should be interesting. Maybe we'll take them to the local brewery for dinner. It's a hugely popular family restaurant with good food as well as good beer.

@Rat2chat2 Well, how does it feel to be dogless again? Our daughter and her family met her husbands family in SC for a family vacation today. Her babysitter is staying at their house with her little boy this week so she'll look after our grand dog, Izzy. That sure works out nicely.

Brian's parents rented a 7 bedroom mansion on the beach for the family. It's gorgeous! They arrived about 2 hours ago and we just got our first pictures of the boys in the surf. Last year the little guy was afraid of the ocean, but you'd never know it this year! Looks like they're going to have a great vacation.

Pa is a motorcycle heaven. I've put thousands of miles on mine and almost never left the state. In fact, didn't even really explore northern counties. It's awesome!
The ride we took yesterday was definitely a bikers ride. Very little traffic, winding roads through canopies of trees, with either forest or cornfields on either side of the road. I was actually thinking this would be a nice ride on a motorcycle as we drove along.

Last night, right in the middle of a Phillies game, our TV went dark. All channels. The upstairs TV wasn't having that problem. Turn it off and on and for almost a minute it's fine and then fades to a much darker picture. So this morning Mike is fooling with it and at the moment it's on the brightest mode (rather than Standard or Natural) so at least we've got a picture. Hopefully we won't have to run out and buy a new one just yet.

so at least we've got a picture.

Sure it wasn't just one of the newer shows, where most everything is in the dark? ;)

More nice temps here, although still no rain, and none for at least a week. A few more months and we'll be griping about the rain again.

So, that's where those bruises came from... ;)
