Most of he boxes are empty and now we're shuffling around where to store everything. Yesterday I changed around cabinet and drawer contents to make it more efficient and logical. There's lots of drawers in this kitchen, but I'd rather have a pantry for food storage.
I ordered an 8x10 area rug from NuLoom for the den/dining room/sitting room (not sure what to call that room yet). The rug pad arrived, but I've been waiting for almost a month for the rug. I emailed them asking the status of delivery and they said it's "on backorder with no future delivery date". What??? When were they going to let me know? I told them to cancel the order and give me a refund. When that's done I'll order a "new arrival" rug to go with the pad. I gave them a bad review and they sent me an email asking if I wanted to reconsider that review in light of the customer service I received! What???
Yesterday we picked up another 4 drawer file cabinet. This one looks brand new so it's going into my room upstairs. That means that I need to empty out the files I already put in the other cabinet. Think I'll do some weeding today and save the files for when one of those stray t-storms comes by.
Wow, I don't blame you for giving the bad review at all. They much deserve it. I know moving is a pain. Hoping you can get everything situated soon.

Firstly, it would be blasphemy to eat chocolate candy (Hershey, of course) with anything other than maybe almonds in the bar ..
Secondly, I generally have mashed potato's / gravy with Mexican style seasoned corn if I'm in that mood .. I don't mind if the corn somehow finds it's way to the 'tater's ..
Maybe go back and edit the review, to include their stellar, well, black hole, customer service?
Good morning. More clouds than sun predicted with low probability for rain. It's only going to 84 so that's good.
I did get some weeding done yesterday, but my back is not happy about it. Mike emptied out the 1st file cabinet upstairs and we carried it downstairs and took the new cabinet upstairs so today I can put all the files away. It'll be nice to get all that stuff organized.
As far as chocolate candy, I love cherries or caramel or hazel nuts or almonds in mine. You'd probably choose Almond Joy over my favorite Mounds?
I took an idea from our old landlord to add a little cocoa in the coffee grounds for a delicious cup of coffee. Cinnamon is good too. Don't try adding either to the cup after it's poured because it just floats on top and looks disgusting.

Oh, we did get some good news yesterday. 4 days after we moved in our AC stopped working. We called American Home Shield and they sent someone out to fix it. He was not licensed to work on our system and recommended another company who came out and did the job. We paid AHS $125 and then had to pay the 2nd company $713 for the repair. Yesterday AHS notified us that they will be sending us a refund. We'll wait to see if the refund is for both charges, but as long as we get the $713 back we'll be happy.
I'm glad this was settled because the ice maker on our GE fridge has been making the same noises that our Samsung made before it stopped working so it looks like we'll have another repair soon.

Since I did not give my new friend my number, I was brazen last night. I just showed up at his door. I was not sure how he would feel about that but I knew as soon as he opened the garage door. He seemed happy to see me.
He had already gotten home from work and eaten. It was nice sitting on the patio catching up. When he found out that I had not had supper, he went and took a shower and took me back to the Moose Lodge. There were so many more people there, I guess because it was the weekend. Everyone that he had introduced me to the other time, came up and said hello and even remembered my name.
I had no idea what I wanted but I found out they had a salad bar so that was an easy choice. A very good little salad bar too. I looked at what the other people were eating and everything look really good. I like that place. I wish there was a Moose Lodge close to me. I actually think I might join. It is 16 miles from my house which is not all that far. Definitely the other side of town.
I had no idea he would work on the weekends since he works 12-hour days. I did find out that he is a welder and he is here working on a huge Toyota plant they are building here. I must say, he is definitely a hard worker. He only has to work 8 hours today so since I still will not tell him where I live or how to get in touch with me, he asked me if I would come back to his house today at 4. Not his house. The house he is renting. I told you it was on the golf course. Found out last night it was the 5th hole in the backyard. Wish it had been an even number but that's okay. (I also like even numbers, just another one of my weirdities)
I think I told you, he is originally from TN. He has a physical that he says he needs to keep because he has to get refills on his medication so he is planning a short trip there for his appointment and to visit his dad. He asked me if I would think about going with him. Looks like I might be going on another adventure. Who knows? I do like adventures.
Don't worry though, I will see how the next couple of weeks go and I won't if there is any doubt whatsoever in my head.
I got one of my packages from Temu yesterday. My aunt had such a fun time looking at all the things I got. There were like 14 items. I get the other one today but there are only 5 things in this package. The top I bought fits nicely and I have already washed it. The white gym shorts were really nice. I wore them last night but if I order another color, I will get the small instead of the medium. I wore my pink shoes and a bunch of people told me they loved them. I am not sure if they really did or if they were making fun of them. It doesn't matter because I love them.
Not sure what I am going to do today. I think I will go to the Freedom House (the thrift store I LOVE). I may skip the gym today. My knee is acting up a little bit and I think I need to baby it a little bit.
