Thank you Uncle Willie, that was a great way to brighten my day a bit. I must say though that certain hosts (looking at you Jimmy) should keep their day job, errr, late night job, rather than trying to sing along with Keith Richards when he's playing classic Stones hits.

Fallon always seems to think he needs to be the center of attention .. those afflicted with this particular malady are, IMO, always obnoxious and cringe worthy ..

Morning, all.

Cool and crisp here, highs for the week said to stay below 60. Rain back later today, and snow in the passes still in the guess.

Agreed, he's often too full of himself. But sometimes his guest is worth putting up with him.

It has definitely gotten chillier here. I hope I have warm enough clothes because we are going back to his dad in Chattanooga tomorrow. Ken says we are going to take the motorcycle. Not sure that is smart with his ribs but I'm fine. His dad wants to put his truck in Ken's name. It will be a beautiful trip through the mountains if my eyeballs are not shivering.

I have long john's and I plan to use them.

Another deputy called me yesterday. He was super nice. I told him I knew he could not say anything about a fellow worker but I was not pleased that they did not come out and at least try to get fingerprints from the inside of Ken's truck. The deputy said he could complain and the other officer did not follow procedure. My vehicle was seen through an intersection camera at 3:00 a.m. the morning it was stolen. He thinks it was juveniles and it will show up. I sure hope he is right.

I still cannot believe I had something stolen from me considering I live on a little dead-end street where everyone knows each other. Three of us are related. Sheesh! What is this o'l world coming to? It is sad to me.

Good morning. Woke up to 34 degrees this morning! Brrrrrr. We're warming up to 65 though and it's sunny. It looked like it was showing leaves here this morning.

Unfortunately the Phils lost last night. They were not playing well at all. They better wake up for game 7 tonight. It sure would make us happy to be playing in the World Series.
I bought a big bag of Tootsie Pops the other day. There used to be an Indian on the wrapper that was shooting a star. Not a single one has had that on it so I guess they removed it. Well, now I'm off to get one. And no, I have never figured out how many licks it takes to get to the center. View attachment 1002598
Haven't bought them in a very long time have you, I'm 74 and don't ever remember the Indian shooting a star on them. You sure it was Tootsie Pops?

That was fun! How old is Keith? It's a wonder he can still play the guitar and didn't develop arthritis in his fingers. I'm impressed.

Expand video to full screen and look at his hands / fingers ..

He has admitted to pretty bad arthritis and his knuckles show it .. I have the same issue and it makes it difficult to play ..

He is 79 ..

Les Paul played his last gig at the age of 93 and died soon after .. he had a bad case of arthritis in his hands .. (I'm doing this from memory) ..

No news on my Honda today.

Other than that, it was a beautiful day. I suggested we take the bike out today to see how it did with his injury. He seemed fine. I wanted to make sure before we took a six-and-a-half-hour drive. I am wondering how I will do with my sciatica. We will see. We are planning to leave mid-morning. This is going to be a short trip. Only 1 night. Maybe two. I may need more time to rest up for the drive back home. Since they have had their first frost, I think the leaves will be spectacular.
Went back to my fav restaurant tonight (Bonbon's) and split a Texas Chicken Quesadilla. It was so good. My cousin ordered it Sunday when we went out and she gave me a bite. One bite was not enough. I could have eaten the whole thing but I was good and split it.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

you‘re the 1st to come to mind when i saw this.
I can see why that reminded you of me.

I did tell Ken I might wear my pink boots tomorrow. I have not worn them yet and it is getting cool enough. Not sure about the tutu although, I might be able to pull it off. heehee
You sure it was Tootsie Pops?
Yes, it was Tootsie Pops. I finally saw the Indian with a bow shooting a star today. In fact, I had it on 3 of my pops. I only ate 3 today because I burned the roof of my mouth on my hot chocolate this morning. I have not done that in a long time. It usually happens on a hot slice of pizza. Not much patience when it comes to eating.

When we get back from TN, I have to get more Halloween candy. Guess I got mine a little too early this year. We have never once had a trick-or -treater but you have to be prepared, just in case!

Can you believe the price of chocolate candy this year? Not sure how the people who live in neighborhoods with lots of families can afford this holiday. Sheesh!

Try cutting a few slices of bread into little cubes. Wrap them in aluminum foil. The kids will love them, and you get to imagine their little faces when they stand under a street light and unwrap them.

Geez Louise, we've got swarms of ladybug beetles all over the outside of our house. Cute little things, but I was trying to put a command hook on our front door and while the door was open at least a dozen of them took it as an invitation to come in. I just put a jar underneath them and gave them a push inside and then let them go outside. So where were all these guys this summer when we had all those aphids pooing on our cars? They do eat aphids I think.

Oh I definitely think you should wear the tutu!. It'll look great with the boots and just think of all the smiling faces you'll see! You'll be spreading joy.

Ok, now I've got to run to the store and check out the Tootsie Pops for the Indian.

Ha Ha! You're BAD!!! Don't be surprised if those kids decide to extend mischief night at your house!

Morning, all.

More rain, although not deluge. Temps topping out in the low 50s.

They do eat aphids I think.

That they do, along with other garden pests. Nice critters, and no, I have no idea why they waited this long! :)

Yup, Although at today's prices they may not be able to afford TP. ;)
