I'm sure it must have some kind of 'auto-pilot' capability. Have you tried that yet. Highway speed around curves with big rig trucks in the lane next to you and you'd better have faith in the computer steering your vehicle. Can be a bit disconcerting when you first try it out and/or use it.Still learning about my new truck .. it's amazing the tech they pack into these things .. and, an 8 speed automatic in a truck that does 0-60 in under 6 seconds is a real trip .. I mean, we're talking probably 3 tons of machine with that kind of get up and go .. with the option to switch to manual shift ..
It's a fun ride and drive .. smooth as silk
I've messed with it off and on since getting the Pilot in 2019. Probably can count the times I've actually used it for an extended trip on 1 hand. I dropped my interest in using it when I remembered:
1.) its controlled by a computer programmed by a human
2.) human's make mistakes
3.) I worked with computers starting in 1968 for the next 45 years
4.) I was around a lot of computers
5.) I never knew a computer not to make a mistake.
I stopped using auto-pilot.
