Morning, all.

Seems to me that "unfixed" issues often do come back to bite us...

Good morning people. It's a beautiful day here, going up to 66. Must have gotten a little rain overnight, but definitely not enough. It's not looking good for the next 10 days either.
I went to the Honda to leave and thought I'd check and make sure I locked the door. When I went back out to the car, there was a tiny Wren in there. The little guy wouldn't leave. I wouldn't not have minded if he had used the bathroom before he tried to travel with me. Pooped all over the inside. Guess he was scared. I'm just glad he wasn't hiding. I'm not sure what I would have done if he'd made his appearance known to me while I was driving. Probably would have been one more soiled spot! heehee
Awww, poor little thing was probably scared to death. I hope you didn't have cloth seats...

Years ago I was driving to work when something flew around inside my car and landed on the grab bar on the dashboard. IT WAS A BAT! I screeched off the side of the road, got out and opened all the doors, but it didn't want to leave. It was just hanging there, upside down so I had to prod it with my umbrella until he left. Just then a car stopped and the guy asked what was wrong - I bet he didn't believe me.

Today we're going to the genius bar at the Apple store. My phone screen is having a problem. There's a black blotch creeping onto the screen. Never saw anything like that before. We'll see what they have to say. Fortunately we've got warranty coverage. I just hope they can fix it there and don't want to keep it.

Morning, all.

More rain here, as in lots. Wish we could send some of it down to Camarillo CA and over to NJ.

There's a black blotch creeping onto the screen.

Sounds like it's time for a screen replacement.

Afternoon, all.

If January 6th convicted insurrectionists are pardoned in mass, it would be beyond the pale ..

I expect he will, along with forcing his new AG (GAETZ????) to drop all charges against himself.

What the flack happened to no one is above the law? Oh, yeah, his packed SC...

Meanwhile,

Everyday it's particularly unsettling to me we have thousands of criminals loose on the streets that entered the country illegally. Don't we have enough of our own home grown ... like we needed more.

And when the deportation starts ... don't forget Obama deported 3 million ... so the precedent has been set.

" Oh, yeah, his packed SC..." give me a break ... both parties try to load the supreme court in their favor ... just so happens this time around the Repub's got their opportunity. Would you still call it packed if the Dem's had their picks in place?

Can you say "Game of Thrones"?

The hunt for the freezer is over! Yay! The discount places I went to seems ridiculous so I ended up buying a new one at Lowes. Found an upright convertible. I did not even know they made ones that could be a fridge or a freezer. Of course, it has been a long time since I looked at appliances. That is a good thing.

Perry brought over a huge cooler full of meat so it is already over half full. He is bringing veggies over next so I am sure it will be ready for the winter. Now I am thinking I need to buy a small generator because I would hate to lose all that is in there. I tried to pay him for it but he quickly thumbs downed that idea. He does have a point that I am cooking for him. I thought I had retired from cooking so I would not have needed one if it were not for him and his teaching me to make stuff. heehee

It is supposed to rain here soon so both yards needed to have the leaves gotten up. I do not like this of year. Perry had a lot to do this week so I did his yard. I walked almost 7 miles yesterday and boy can I tell it. Probably should not have done all that with my knee. Usually, when I get up it feels great and gets worse during the day. Today, it reminded me the first thing that I need to slow down. So that is what I am going to do today.

Perry and I are supposed to go hear Jerry Garcia Band this weekend. He had called one of his good friends to go with us and the man was so excited. He said he would ask his wife. Well, the next day, she called and told Perry that he had passed away unexpectedly with a seizure. It was such a shock to Perry and me too. Just more proof that you need to live every day like it is your last because it very well could be.

Hope everyone has a wonderful week.
