She is 4 years old today....thanks for asking. We got her one of those 3 story doll houses that will fit her Barbies. That is all she asked for....even tho she told me she is going to get 100 presents. We got the doll house because it was expensive, and her parents really could not have afforded. And she will be the last grandchild so we are spoiling her.:p The others are teens or preteen.

I am so glad you are feeling better today....and just remember, if you have trouble keeping up, do like me...just read and post at your leisure. I am usually in the past when posting at night.

Off now for car maintenance. See you later.

Dale just keep in mind you are feeling better and will probably sleep like a log tonight!! :)

Glam I'm sure you need to spoil GD. At least that is my theory when it comes to the grand kids!! :)

Not much going on for me today so maybe I should house clean or something.

    Hey everyone,

For the young cat I caught, I'm working with two agencies here. I'm able to get a spay/neuter voucher for $15 from one based on income. I can take that to 1 of 4 Vets, so I selected one that I know and trust, and the only one on this side of the river. Then once fixed, another agency will accept it and find a home for it. This agency would have done it for $50, which is cheap compared to what is normally charged, but when I said I didn't have $50, I was told about the voucher agency.

I learned of these agencies by calling PetSmart. I called the Humane Society and got no results, so I called PetSmart and got two agencies. I got no reply at all from the 2nd I called, but the 1st one called back and told me about voucher place, saying once the cat was fixed, they'd find a home for it.

I get the voucher this evening, and I can get the spay/neuter done on Monday. Without this voucher, I would have had to pay a lot more at a Vet and wait until November 21. I'm so happy and excited about this. If you ever need this kind of help, I highly suggest you call PetSmart!

    :)

Thanks for the info about Pet Smart. You are right....it cost me $250 for neuter and declaw of Hellraiser.
Well maintenance done on car and had them check a noise coming from front end when turning wheels. I have a wheel bearing going out....a $385 fix! The good news....car has been paid off for two years....and that is still cheaper than even one car payment. First problem I have had with it...it is 5 years old, so I will not complain (much) when I write the check. They had to order the parts.

Getting ready to go to son's to the birthday party. We are having chicken from our locally famous chicken place....so I do not have to cook tonight. VG, hubs put the doll house together....it took him several hours, and he is a carpenter.

I will check in when I get back.....I am guessing it won't be too late. Her bed time is 8:30, unless she is allowed to stay up because it is her birthday.

See you later if not too late.

This is true, dang it! :( :D
