I am working my way back into crocheting. It's been quite a while but I inherited a LOT of yarn so am looking for good projects. GG, Lori and Torey are all good at crocheting though and have lots of good ideas!
Might need a lower nic standby for the extreme accent days! I keep a selection of nic levels to cover all kinds of days!
oh, I have way too much yarn, and hooks, and needles, and, and, and... LOL I knit and crochet and have been doing so for almost 10 years now
And I have 12 for the difficult times where I only get a chance to vape every once in a while, and 6 for my chain vaping while working. Maybe I need some 3!!!

Hopefully so. I plan to do the errands first & then drop the car off for an oil change. I really only gave 2 places that I have to go to. Thankfully the Toyota place is across the street from my complex so I usually walk home. That way I can knock out the laundry while they do what they need too. Oh & then I'm supposed to have dinner with Reggie
maybe I'll have AN hour
You help keep my dreams alive! Have to keep going to save up so I can come hang out and vape with you over some good Welsh food and a cup of tea!

LOL! I haven't made any 3 yet but I keep 6 for driving, and work my way up to 18 for high stress times.
Our house is tiny and I ended up with a couple of big tubs of yarns when my mom passed away. I gave some to the senior group she was with but with all the other craft stuff I ended up with a tub when all was said and done. I figure it's been a couple years, time to do something with it. I started my 5 and 8 year old granddaughters on crochet 2 weeks ago. I'm working on an afghan with some of the other, broomstick lace.
I had knitting lessons when I was about 8 but really only remember vaguely how to knit and Perl but exactly which is which at what point...well that will take some studying to get back to.

I am! I'm excited! Mom still has no idea about her party. She was just talking about what she's going to cook for me on Saturday. I wanted to giggle...Saturday is her birthday party

She always cooks my favorite when I come home. I've gotten it down pretty good but still not nearly as good as hers.
Cubed steak with onions & extra gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, squash & rolls. She was even talking about cooking a ham to slice up for me to take back.
Man! The look on her face is gonna be priceless

Have you heard anything from when they tested your wrist? I know when Bruce broke his collar bone and they ended up putting a titanium plate in it, they gave him a settlement for the scar. We got a letter out of the blue saying it was like $600 for the scar and a check. We just shook our heads and cashed the check... like a cowboy is going to care if he has a scar!

Yes! That's exactly what I'm looking forward to! The last 2 weeks the other manager & I have worked a full day so that we both could have one day off. The new girl has 3rd key experience already so hopefully this should go pretty smoothly. Hello Sundays & Wednesdays off! And I have some vacation time coming up soon too

The scary thing is that this test is supposed to test my ability to preform my job. I just hope it didn't go badly. No, they won't terminate you over it. That would cost them a settlement for 100% disability and they would be required to pay a large sum as well as pay for your training for the job of your choice that you were considered eligible for. Since you obviously can do the job, the most they would give is a smaller settlement for a percent of range of motion lost. The higher the number the less you receive.

I understand completely. When it comes to your livelihood you do worry, it's only normal. No reason to be embarrassed by that. As for broken bones, they sure aren't what you expect if you've never had one! I know being in a hospital in a foreign country with a shattered elbow and broken arm was a major shock, then to have the pt go on for 10 months to get the range of motion back in the arm and finally in the wrist was NOT what I expected when they said it was broken. If I hadn't done it in the town with one of the top orthopedic hospitals and surgeons I would have thought he screwed it up and my comprehension of the language was the problem. Certainly made it a vacation to remember!

I bet that was something! I would've been terrified out of my mind in that situation. Apparently, my orthopedic is really good as well. I've had soooooo many customers ask me who was treating me & all I've heard are great reviews. One even said he's the 'doctors doctor' as in many of the doctors won't let anyone else but him treat their orthopedic issues. That made me feel pretty good.
