I have gotten several of my meds from Canada. My doctor wasn't to thrilled at first but when I brought in my Advair discus from them and explained that I could get 6 months worth for the cost of a single month US he looked at the pamphlet that came in it and agreed that it was the same thing and made good sense. My SIL has lupus and some of hers were cheaper to buy through Canada than she could get it even with her insurance so she just orders the expensive ones from them. She compares and if she can get them cheaper that way she does it. My MIL ends up paying for the last 3 or 4 months worth of prescriptions because she goes over the limit of what they will pay in a year so in September or October the doctor gives her new prescriptions and she sends to Canada for hers also. It saves her several $100 in those 3 or 4 months.:)

Is that how it works Bobbi? your insurance covers as much as it can for the year and if the meds are over the allowance it comes out of your pocket for the rest?..

Aww yeah, Must be a PITA Bobbi. Had wondered where you were, keep forgetting what's going on.

I am actually enjoying it now that DH has given up and is willing to send a bit of the excess to our local shelter/thrift. So much junk, it's hard to keep things clean... says I who has 6 tea sets and can't bear to part with any... about 30 coffee mugs, each one special for some reason... I suspect we are hopeless when it comes to having too much! I only have 3 coffee pots, the one we use, the backup pot (it's a long way to town if one goes out), a single cup maker and also a stove top make for electrical outages... As you can see we have an excuse for all the excesses!

Cheeks?..Ohhhhh, cheeks, they did earlier, they're er, fine now :facepalm:

.... cheeks right? I'm not missing something fundamental here?

Well, I'd wonder why you have so many backups if this was last year, however my year as a vaper has taught me. your backups, backups, backups also need backups. so I get it.

Much of it isn't even backups. Like the mugs, Christmas gifts from the grandchildren, souvenirs from my trips to Europe, leaning tree cups from the boys... the list goes on. Which one could I get rid of???
We have 2 of most kitchen small appliances, not because we need them but because we got a new one as a gift and the old one was still fine so it ended up in the pantry... I would so much love to get rid of several things that DH is not willing to give up yet!

Just once I'd like someone to give me something because they thought I was attractive!

No, a good personalitly is more attractive than looks and people who use their looks to get things, well to me that isn't honorable. People who are honorable is more attractive in my book.

BTW I like your signature line-------Made out of 100% Recycled Awesome! Very clever.

I have all kinds of honor. I tell the wife "Hey baby, want to get some this honor? She just laughs and says "No dear, now put on your Jeffrey Dean Morgan mask and go to sleep"

Thank you! My dog is made out of 100% New Awesome. He's better than me. I'm ok with that. He's awesome!

Hey Welsh, how is Wales to live in? Are you anywhere near Cardiff? The weather seems perfect (cool year round with little humidity according to wiki) I want to ride from Lands End to John O'Groats one day.

@Chapel, that is an enticing post. ;)

@Welsh, we needed more sleep, I'm dragging now. :D

@Racegun, enjoy your day but not too much, we don't want a mod using a knife on you. ;)
