Holy bleep! Heard something outside and couldn't figure what it might be so DH opened the door and stepped out to see and darn near on a snake! Then the stupid thing tried to follow him back into the house. He was even opening his mouth like he wanted to bite someone! He's a dead snake now, even though he was a bull snake (bad choice of places to be) scared the heck out of DH til he knew what he was. The noise was him knocking over a broom that was on the front porch. This is getting ridiculous.

Oh my goodness! That is ridiculous & dangerous. I'm glad DH is ok but both of you need to be careful.

Well I need to clean a lil & wash a couple of loads of clothes & I may spend some time with Reggie tomorrow depending on what time he gets done with work. That's pretty much it.

The only good snake is a dead snake :)

    Same with spiders.

    And pine roaches.

    I 2nd that!

Didn't get a pic of him trying to come in, he won't be knocking on anyone else's door! Apparently he didn't get the memo when God said he and I were gonna be enemies!

I don't know what a pine roach is but I will certainly take your word for it! I agree whole heartedly (now that my pulse is slowing back down to normal!) We had been looking down first when we stepped out since the last one but the noise was so out of place that we were looking outward for something large. Even to let the dog out we are looking down as we are opening the door and the screen door. Just in case one managed to get in between the two doors, so we would be ready to slam it... I don't know what is causing this but it is getting really old, really fast!

Not all black snakes are good. Some are poisonous especially in south ga. I got stuck on the steps with one under me when I was little. Worst hour of my childhood. They got it and killed it. I won't go back to dead lakes ever again.

:?: I did not know that

So sorry that happened to you :(
