Evening all. :)

Bobbi, that pic of your crochet looks VERY NICE!!
Also, my guess would be the snakes are going for the food source (mice), water or shelter from the heat maybe, but I think snakes like heat....but they LOVE mice. They can probably smell the mice. Wonder if there is a ginormous nest somewhere??
...how about a baby afghan to donate for a church raffle somewhere???

Welsh, I had a peppery nic to start with, thankfully only one small bottle, but it was NASTY!!
Glad your grandfather can go home soon. :)

Shad, hope you're feeling better, and that you enjoyed your nap. ;)

Jeff, we miss you too!!

Dale, did you get the dog her bath?? Rita could use one too. But it's not happening today!

GG, we have a similar roach here, we call them wood roaches too, like Dale mentioned. Ours fly too. :( They're at the lake, but not here at this house. Not enough wooded area to support them I guess. I'm just thankful spiders can't fly. :)

Chim, enjoy your day tomorrow!! Hope you and Reggie get to spend some time together and just relax.

Well, I guess I'm off. Need to get my bath and stuff.

Did you see the pic of the baby afghan the baby was sitting on?? That would be cute in your colors, and those blocks are all one color.

I have one skein of the pink left. It looks like it is going to make about 9" per skein in broomstick lace. I was thinking about doing a single row of white in between and do an afghan that uses the 3 blues and the 3 yellow like GG suggested. It would make it 5' by about 80ish inches. Then edge it in more of the white...:?:

The blocks are pretty but I would only have 2 colors left to do it in. It is a pretty pattern but I don't see me buying any more of this kind of yarn unless using it makes my heart grow fonder (I'm not expecting that to happen!!).

I think I might take the granny square idea and see how it looks as a granny square when I finish this broomstick lace one.

Thank you, I like the looks of broomstick lace in most any color.

What'cha gonna do with all that time?

    8-o !!!
Never heard of a snake that knew how to knock on door's before!!

lol Avery's babysitter had squirrels that lived in the trees that learned to ring her doorbell...whoever answered the door would get pelted by acorns, twigs and other random things they could throw from the trees.

Yep funny texture - would look great in a lacy shawl :)

If I just did the pink, it would make a 5' by about 27" shawl. I could so one of the blue and one of the yellow too and try some new stitches.

I wonder how it would look doing the cable looking stitch I was talking about on the partial black one that got put away unfinished and forgotten...

it isn't ubber soft but it is about average. Maybe I could make the girls each a shawl for Christmas. :)

LOL, that would be kind of funny! How are you feeling today? You sound like you might be getting a bit better, feeling a little more perky!:)

What did you have? I'm thinking ham and eggs... wonder if DH is in the mood for breakfast!

I took the easy way out & grabbed a spicy chicken salad from Wendy's. They're really good! I could eat the spicy chicken alone:laugh:
Yum!! Breakfast for dinner is always good to me:D
