All this diy talk has reminded me, I want a good toffee. That's my new mission.
My suggestion is to look up a good recipe for toffee and try to replicate it with vape stuff

Toffee is caramelized sugar or molasses with butter....English Toffee (which is actually American) is made with almonds or pecans.
i guess the trick would be not to make it taste like pure sugar.
i suggest adding bacon to it....

It looks like by telling everyone to have a good day that I could keep of with what day it actually is. Just found out this wasn't Friday. I lost a day somewhere. Do they still make those sets of panties that have the day of the week on them? I use to get those every year as a kid from my aunt. I hate them. Probably the reason I won't wear any now.

Bobbie that is along the lines of what I was thinking. I just know daddy will miss seeing the pupdogs I take over there. I'm not complaining though about the rain. We've been needing some. I was hoping it would rain out all the fireworks around here. I know that's mean but I feel sorry for one of my dogs. Last year the Benadryl worked pretty good.
So many poor pups as well as some of our vets will not have a good day with fireworks. I sure don't miss them! Guess I'm just old, then again when it comes to fireworks I've been old for a long long time! Poor Yoda only has to see a firearm and he goes and sits in the bathroom, immediately stressed out. He has never lived close enough to town to have to deal with fireworks. I hate to imagine how he would deal with it!

DH went to town for bread, milk and more sticky traps. Wanted to know if I wanted to go...yeah, right. Between the people and the heat it's not likely! I like my lurker family but really can't say I desire to go anywhere further than this thread today.
Did manage to get the daybed re-made, my bed, the dishes, dinner all done. I figure that is more than I've had the energy to do in the entire last week. Surely that is enough for one day? I even have a load of laundry to fold if my energy re-gathers again. What more can one ask!
