Princess of Hogwarts would be kool !!!!! LOL

I have heard that my French ancestors were nobility. One of these days, I may go there and claim the throne of France. I want to live in Versailles Palace and have lots of money to spend and give away to the needy.

LOL, having been to Versailles I think I could sell it and find something far more comfortable. May I live in Marie's little house if you move there? With my luck, they would call me the princess of pee.

I use Legacy also. I started years ago with a different one but when I reached 10,000 it gave me an error and said I couldn't add anyone else. There are close to 10,000 in the Heikes Red Book, The Decedents of Nathan Spicer also has a huge tree so that was only my mom's side. Legacy allows you too continue on as far as I can tell. I have 23,360 in the tree I am working on and haven't added the last few years of babies... have let it go since my mom passed away.

I love Legacy!! I think I have over 50,000 in my tree but I go back then I come back down so alot of mine are closer in time. I have 2 filing cabinets full of records and I love being able to print those Descendant reports. I have those in a nice Leather binder with the family name on it. :) Plus you can print copies for family.

I can't like that post, Balwin. Sorry to hear about your mom. :(

It's ok, it was her time. She stopped taking her meds on Valentine's day 2012. She knew what she wanted to do, she waited several years until my brother finally became ill enough to understand her desire to quit and gave her his blessing. The reason I quit working on the history was because I didn't have her pressing me to work on it. :) I will start again one of these days... We went to DH's family reunion this past weekend and they are looking for someone to take that one over as is my mother's mother's family. I just smile and say no. It is supposed to be fun, not a job! :)

I'm an amateur genealogist, compared to you two ladies. :)

On that note, it's past 11 pm here on the east coast, so I'm going to call it a night. Goodnight, Balwin and goodnight, Princess Evie. I hope that you have a good day at work tomorrow, Evie and keep up what you are doing, I'm proud of you. :) Talk to y'all tomorrow.

Not letting me have quotes again...

I have the old hand printed records time 2 from mom (one set for notations the other for showing to people) mine from when I took them into have them copied and printed for DH's family going in 4 directions (dads dad/dads mom and moms dad/moms moms families), 3 printing of the Red Book reprinted to add the past 3 generations, Decedents of Nathan Spicer and the Descendants of Peter Spicer as well as my filing cabinet of internet records still to be researched and mom's files... Way too much paper!!!

Then don't forget the Family and personal Bibles of every one under the sun. Baby books... the list goes on forever!

Good night Jerry! Sleep well.
There is no such thing as an amateur, just those who haven't become quite as addicted yet!

On that note, I also need to head for bed. I'm not sure when I will have the grand girls again and I may need my rest! :)

Wow, you guys! I can't trace further back than most of my great grands. And my maternal great grandfather was an orphan in Italy so we thought we were Italian. Maternal grandmother's family is all Italian. My mom's sister had her dna tested and it's only 1/3 Italian. Apparently we're also German and Persian. And who knows on my dad's side, as he and his brothers were the first to learn to read and write in his line!

Haha I had to share...while I was trying to catch up here Avery passed out....
Copied from fb

Lmfao poor Avery. She fell asleep on the couch and I tried to wake her. Finally got her to sleep walking stage. She staggers from living room ping ponging off the wall into the game room and crashes on that couch.
I go in there to try again to get her up stairs to find her still "sleep walking" holding the Xbox controller pressing buttons while the tv and Xbox are off.
Again I try common lets go upstairs to bed.
She stands up grabs my hand and tries to head downstairs like we are leaving somewhere...after several no honeys upstairs to bed she finally heads upstairs but keeps walking once to top of stairs right into the wall and just keeps bouncing off the wall.
Lmfao of course I'm laughing and she's grunting angerily...I turn her towards the bedroom and she nose dives into bed and is out cold....
