Good to know about the hair.

I've only used it a couple times in cooking, because of the sweetness factor....and because I LOVE butter.
Will definitely give it a try in tea though!! Thanks again for the info. :)

Well I know you watch your gluten so I didn't mention that we use it on our toast and often use it in place of butter. The flavor is good but it is a bit greasier on your fingers.

Hey Chim! Prince is a cutie!:) I've been bouncing in and out today/tonight. The grand girls are in need of either a referee or knock out drops today. Haven't been able to get along for 15 minutes straight all afternoon!

Hey Bobbi! Thanks:)
I figured that the girls had you tied up for most of the day after I read back earlier.
I'm sorry they're being more than a handful tonite but hopefully they'll be ready for bed soon & you can get a break as well.
Is tomorrow the last day of their weekend stay? Or do you have them longer because of the holiday weekend:unsure:

I sent them both to bed! No, the holiday doesn't make a difference. We take them Friday nights because the kids leave at 6am and we aree in the opposite direction of their job (DS is manager of a livestock auction, DIL works in the office, GS works penning back cattle and the sale is on Saturdays) we don't want to have to get up at 4 to go get them. Saturday they won't get home til 9 or so and we don't want to be on the road at that hour much less have to come home afterward! So we take them home on Sunday at some point. We love having them but when they go home even Yoda breathes a sigh of relief! It's not so much that they are bad as that we are so used to the calm and quiet of an older couple with an adult dog...

That's understandable. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that you love them dearly & enjoy having them around as much as they enjoy getting to spend weekends with you & DH. It sounds like when my mom, sisters, nieces & nephew come to town. Even down to the dog. I'm used to the calm & peacefulness here at my apartment & when they visit or I go home they wipe me out! It's all of the energy! They have so much & the more they have it seems like the more they drain from you:laugh: I don't know if I could handle that every weekend myself. I'd want to sleep all week long:lol:

^^^ Yup. that's what i meant :) Thanks.
^^^ What she said :)
Yes, we do care - and have fun at the wedding tomorrow!
Awwww, I'll keep praying. I cut out sugar completely a few years back. It took a few months, but now I don't even miss it. I get all the sweets through my vape! :D
How's everyone doing tonight. Time for me to sit down to work.
Thanks for the prayers. (If they were sent my way, wasn't sure...sometimes I'm kinda slow. ) I'm not big on sweets, just stuff that turns to sugar...like BREADS. ....and other assorted carbs. :( Those are my downfall.
I don't eat candy really. Occasionally chocolate, in some small form. But rarely ever an entire candy bar. Baked goodies aren't a problem either, unless someone brings brownies...then I have to have a tiny bit. Or...chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter cream frosting....that's another that I would have to have one....and Krispy Kreme....I'd have to have one of those. But THANKFULLY, those treats come few and far between.

....course NOW that I've thought about it....I want a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter cream frosting.

Yeah but they said it'll be a short ceremony. 10-15 minutes & then on to the reception which will be outside kinda like a bonfire. They've both been married before. She (my friend) has been married before. He was a police officer and he died about a year into the marriage while on duty in a tragic car accident while chasing someone. She's only a year older than me. And he's been married but has been divorced for many years so they didn't want a big fancy affair. It'll be the first wedding I've ever been too that they require casual dress. She's even wearing cowboy boots with her dress:laugh:

I've cut out quite a bit thanks to Dale and her tea. I used to be really really bad with my soda intake:facepalm: I used to be worse than you Lori.

That's what it was with my sister & great grand mother.

See ya later sweetie.
So sad your friend lost her first husband. I can't imagine!! How wonderful that she has found love again!!!
Enjoy the day tomorrow!!

I like the hot teas now too. Then iced tea, but that's just regular black tea....maybe a smidge of something else with it...Luzianne is what I've been buying for iced tea. Not sure if I spelled that right.

I have a sweet friend who's wife did that :) Maybe I'll show a pic sometime :)
They're a pretty couple ;)

 I did good then :D
You did do good!!

I'm tired

Here they are, course you can't see their feet

How cute!!!

That's Ben, he's been my little buddy forever seems like :)
Such a sweet young man he is!

Afraid I'm off to beddy bye hon
Nite sweetie. I'm not far behind.

I tried it on toast, it was okay. If I had to cut out butter, I'd definitely go for it.

I actually found that two of my hair care products have juniper berry extract in them. I'm definitely allergic to juniper. So, since my bloodwork came back neg for gluten sensitivity, it's entirely possible that part of the facial irritation may have been the hair products. I have since stopped using them, and it's much better. However, I still get the tummy bloat if I eat breads, and that is a symptom of gluten sensitivity, so  I have no idea.
I will continue to try to curb gluten, cuz it tends to go straight to my rear end anyway... But I've been eating whole grain bread, whenever possible, and trying to limit breads to just one meal. Trace stuff I'm not going to worry about unless I really start to have issues. It's just in too many things to make that drastic of a change in my diet.

Well good people, I believe I will also say good night.
Sweet dreams when you all go. :)

So really really true! They bounce around here and play, fuss, want kids shows... all things that seem to drain us! Shell, most people with kids don't understand and often don't hear all their conversations, fights and such. I listen to things they discuss and wonder how on earth their folks miss it all. They act surprised when we tell them some of the things that tend to worry us... did we miss that many things our boys said when they were growing up???

Good night Shad! Sleep well, hope you have a good day tomorrow!

I've always wondered if I needed vitamins or something to keep up with them or if it was just that I was so used to the peace & quiet of being on my own. That makes me wonder too what it will be like if I ever have kids. Will I be exhausted forever or does some kind of weird energy overtake your body & you can handle all of it then:laugh: all I know is that I'm afraid:lol:

No, when you have kids, you sort of work your way up to it all...now I know why babies start babies instead of running around and talking! I think once you are used to the quiet, even when they are on their best behavior you stay just a bit on edge so you feel worn down by the time it is over. :?: Talk about pure exhaustion, they had 1 of Grace's bday parties at a place called chucky cheese! Like 8 little kids isn't enough add a couple hundred that belong to total strangers all on an adrenalin high!:shock::shock: The next year when they talked about that or a skating party we told them if it is the chucky place we will not come!:(

Whew! Ok. That makes me feel better.
Oh my goodness! My sister had Landon's 2nd bday party at Chucky Cheese earlier this year! Pure madness I tell ya! Between him crying at first & being terrified of Chucky to all of the other little ones running around playing & screaming it was insane. People always laugh when I tell them that spending a weekend running around with my family is more exhausting than a weekend spent at work but it's so true. I need a day to recover after it's all done:laugh:

Well you have no idea how much better I feel after this chat with you. I seriously used to wonder if I needed energy supplements sometimes. But in the back of my mind I'd think...well I'm fine any other time:laugh: And then I'd think that people with kids must be walking zombies if I was that tired from a couple of days with the family:lol:
