Reggie tries to give him more responsibility but it doesn't always work but the parents of the people they work with want him there because he's been there for years so the company lets him keep the position because it saves them a lot of headaches.

I know we used to get stressed with the holidays. Where was the extra $$ going to come from. What if we couldn't get someone something. What we learned was that not everything has to be bought. We worked on being extra friendly to folks. be them friends or strangers. Holding the door an extra minute for the shopper behind you with an arm full of packages. Letting the parent with the fussy kid go first in the checkout line. We would offer to watch the neighbor's kids so they could shop or wrap presents. As politically incorrect as some call it telling everyone "Merry Christmas"Once we shifted away from thinking about what we could buy or what someone was going to buy us the whole season changed. We made it past the struggles and now the Christmas season is something we look forward to.

it was just such a shock the year we went from one GC to six the month before Christmas
