....some do.

Sue, DH and I lived together for 12 years before we tied that legal knot. ;) We've been together just over 20 years now.

Sounds good:)

G'night Welsh!

Hi Lori and Dale!

I swear it seems like I have dial-up sometimes. I miss whole pages ...and don't even ask me to press F5:ohmy:
...seriously though, I suppose it's my fault for having a dozen different pages open, websites, email etc.

Edit: not to mention I have "WORD" open because I want to type a letter to someone instead of handwriting it...sheesh

I don't do too good with those multiple pages, can't keep up with anything when I try

Looks like a fairly typical quiet Sunday around here ...

    I'm here :)
    Dinner is cooked shepards pie
DS is at work Xmas party but I've turned the driving over to DH.
I'm just catching up before I go get warm. Can't decide on hot bath or bed. Maybe bath then Bed

Lori baclava recipe I have someone's mom gave me years ago.
FILO dough about 3-5 sheets drizzle with simple sugar put a layer of nuts repeat till you get to the end of the package of FILO dough.
Then you cook it. Don't remember the time or temp. But you can probably go with what's on the box. Cut to desired shape...
Simple sugar is 1/2 sugar 1/2 water heat till sugar melts.

Welsh- David Tennant? Or the one before ? Eckelson? I've Los count and don't see my show listing beside me. Yes I have almost all episodes on dvd. I need a celery broach :)

    Again?!? :(
    Awww Lori!
Honestly, it may just be allergies, but it seems like a cold(ish). DH had his for about a week & 1/2, but he still smokes. It's just mild, sniffles, etc. but earlier I got chilled and just slept like a rock! I've been skipping naps lately, so I must have really needed it.

Headed for the tub, then at 8 we have a season finale to watch, but I'll be back after that. Maybe before it starts if I get moving.

    Hi how are you VG?

Hi Sue. :) It's been a while, huh? I don't go to that MVS Thread anymore, because it's DEAD.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm working on a PC for a customer.

I'd kinda worked it out but then like you, I thought, maybe I should ask, 'cause if they're sharing this guy, I need to know how he's getting around the states so quickly!

...and what he's using for bait.

Oh I'm sure DH is going to steal the phone soon. So I'll say nite :)

    Another DH.

No, it's no different than the past several years. Plus, I should prob put on a pan of water, or get a humidifier. When the furnace goes on, it's is so flipping dry in this house. I wonder if that makes my nose run more trying to compensate, or maybe a dust allergy...who knows....but no, nothing serious, I'm fine. ;) Just _itchin'. :D

It's about 3 & 1/2 inches wide. I used two colors, (skeins). A really large crochet hook. I do not see a letter on it, but I measured across the bottom, and it's 5/8" thick, then tapers down at the hook end. The larger size is kinder to my hands, and easier on the eyes as well.

I used Red Heart (Super Saver) in Monet Print
    http://www.redheart.com/yarn/super-saver-economy/monet-print

and Red Heart (Soft Yarn) in Seafoam
    http://www.redheart.com/yarn/soft-yarn/seafoam

If I use the Red Heart Super Saver, I use a one of the soft yarns for my second skein. The super saver to me is SCRATCHY, but together with a soft, it's fine.

The pattern is super fun too. You chain how wide you want it to be, plus 2. For this scarf, I used:
    Rw1: chain 7, turn.
Rw2: dc into 3rd chain from hook, then sc in next chain, then dc, as so on. Each row should end with sc. Then chain 2 and turn.
Rw3: - desired length: same as row 2

I've used the same pattern only a longer initial chain for larger scarves with one strand of yarn, and also for dishcloths. It has a nice flowing repeat that to me is soothing while your'e stitching.
Row 1 is a bugger. Just how it is, and easy to lose your stitches because it's so loose. Past that, it's a breeze.
.......ah, I see I'm far behind again, so I'll have to catch up. :D

I have about 20 skeins of light colors to use up. I'm not sure what they are, I know they came from Hobby Lobby. Mostly blue but also in pinks, lavender, yellow, mint and maybe white... I'm the only one of us girls that knits and when my passed away a couple years ago they gave me tons of pastel...
