Good Morning Lurkers!

Dinner was a success today I'm chilling! I'm hosting dinner tomorrow but it will be a less 'formal' affair. First impression was a great impression. Second impression will be about just basic Midwest comfort food. Scalloped potatoes and ham with a veggie and rolls. But that's tomorrow....today.....chill time!

Did I tell you that yesterday morning I also finally got my house decorated for Christmas?

I think I'm getting Chim's cold. Every winter it seems that once the cold season starts, we just keep passing it around at work. It's like you'll get a break from it for a week or so, then it's right back to some degree. I took a dose of Nyquil last night before I went to bed. I bet I was sound asleep not 5 minutes after my head hit the pillow....slept like a baby.

I see Robin!! Sooooooo glad dinner was a success!! I swear I almost mentioned Ham and Scalloped Potatoes!! My MIL always has Honey Baked Ham when we visit, with scalloped potatoes, usually theirs too. But always oh so very good, and easy peasy!
Do they have Honey Baked Ham stores in Florida?? I don't ever remember seeing any?

Hey Welsh, I was just looking at the map of the UK. I noticed a city named Swansea.
I work in a village named Swansea, in Illinois. So I had a look at Wiki. How about at the bottom of the page it references Welsh-American Culture in Illinois.
