Managed to bluff, beg and plead my way into getting a prototype from the Mark Bugs team in Romania. Mark Bugs makes the Mark T Infinity rebuildable atty, and the ultrapremium titanium Wizard tube mod.

The unnamed prototype is a rebuildable atomizer made to work with bottom feeding e-cigs. And who else better to try this first prototype than the first Reonaut?

It's stainless steel, and is overall similar to the size and shape of the Infinity, except it's wider and has a hole through the bottom of the 510 connection to feed juice. Beautiful craftsmanship and great design....looks and acts like it was made for the Reo! Even works on the woodvil..fits precisely inside the brass juice catcher! Squeeze the bottle to get the coil nice and wet, and release it to apparently get every spare bit of juice back into the bottle! Nice vape, decent draw (a little airier than a 510) and nice atty taste.

It works w
ith a little kanthal, silica rope or ss mesh that's been oxidizied, so you can a) make replacement coils for pennies a day that are b) to your making-less coils equals HR, more coils equal HV. Mark's attys usually come pre coiled for standard resistance, and with precoiled silica wick to make the coiling process easier if you don't already have the materials. Have that fresh atty feeling any time you damned well want.

Oh, so far this is by FAR the easiest rebuildable to learn when coupled with a Reo. May be the easiest mod I've messed with, period. Hell, the missus was able to pick it up and start immediately! The air inlet is on the side like a 901, so it's damned near impossible to overjuice it or clog it with juice. It works just as well as I dreamed and imagined (so far). Works so with my Reo, I almost think it was custom made for it.

My first recoiling after a day or two of use provided a nice suprise. Normally, I like to get as much wear out of a coil as possible. But a) I've been vaping the crap out of this coil very heavy for a couple of days, and b) it IS set up for standard resistance. The old coil wasn't used up or popped, but hey, why have a rebuildable if you're afraid to rebuild it?

Got my 2mm thick bulli wick out, wrapped 3-4 loops of kanthal out for low resistance. Found a nice little surprise waiting for me: turns out the positive and negative diodes have holes in them. Unscrew the screw, and the old coil comes out with no effort. But the ends of the new coil in, tighten it with a couple of turns of the screw, and cut off the excess. No more having to coil and uncoil tiny wires on and off of tiny screws. It wasn't my best coiling effort, not pretty, but she works, first time! I think it's going to become part of my morning routine to coil this every 2nd or 3rd day...just because I can, dammit!

And LR coil.......oh yeah.......Daddy Like!

One other little discovery upon closer inspection....the bottom of the base has a little lip or flange on it where the midpiece screws onto it. Perfect for holding onto a drop or two of juice for the coil to sop up. Think it would work well for both top dripping and squonking.

And this is superb for dripping a drop or two onto the coil through the mouthpiece for a brief change of pace, assuming your coil is halfway dry. It doesn't appear any juice leaches into the bottle via gravity, but only by the bottle being squeezed and released.

One trick I've learned with the infinity also works for the BFF....it seems to work best if the air inlet hole is pointing up towards the sky. I presume this is because an excess of juice could clog up the hole if it's pointed down. Minor thing to keep in mind with a mark bugs rebuildable.

And for those of you who want to recoil a rebuildable as infrequently as possible, dry burning is fairly quick and efficient on this mod. Leave the base on the mod after removing the step and drip tip, and hit the button until you can see the entire coil glow bright red. From eh'ville right back to thick tasty vape in under two minutes.

I'll keep posting on this to let everyone in on how it's working: mods are like girlfriends, you only really get to know them after living with them for a few weeks. But so far, let's just say that I'm thinking of running to the jeweler's before too long if this thing keeps performing like it has so far....

Finally, I must disclose again that this is a prototype, and may not reflect the actual production version. It is so far unnamed, and no price point or distributor has been disclosed as of now.

so I'm curious say i find the draw too tight as i do with most attys is it feasible to drill air hole out bigger for a better draw ?
and when can i buy one ?

Theoretically, yes. But probably unnecessary. The air draw is on the side like a 901.

For a while, since messing with my first Mark T Infinity, I have dreamed of the ultimate mod. I have dreamed of a bottom feeding rebuildable atty that works with a VV or VW Reo. I've got the prototype atty (code named [by me] "BFF" for "Bottom Feeders Forever") and my friend Sterno just got in a VV Woodvil from reosmods.com.

I had the chocolate, he had the peanut butter.

Tell ya what, that was one nice freakin' peanut butter cup! The BFF performed well on it, as it does my 'regular' Reos. Really well. Being able to dial in the exact amount of voltage for my juice is such an incredibly nice touch. It also gives each hit a 'fresh off the charger feeling', and makes coiling in the exact amount of resistance a non-issue. Going from a cool vape to HVish fog at the twist of a dial really makes the setup twice as enjoyable.

Sterno kept talking about how much he could really taste his juice, and marveling at the juicing action of the BFF. I suspect he'll be saving all of his pennies for when these become commercially available. He was also impressed at how quickly and easily an effective dry burn could happen.

Like Paul Moadib, I think my dream has come true. Now for Reo to get his VV grands ready to ship, and I'll be set. I'll have to get a bunch of AW 16340's, but that's a small price to pay, especially when Sterno tells me a single pair lasts anywhere from half to a full day of hardcore vaping. He's not kidding, either: his apartment looks like Victorian London when I visit. With the strengths of these mods working together as team, I honestly can't imagine how vaping can get any better. Sterno and I have been to the summit of vaping Everest.

Leaving base camp WAS a little awkward, though. Sterno's not about to turn loose of his prized VV Woodvil, and mentioned how I could leave the BFF with him for a little bit...

No frakkin' way. I've known him for twelve years, but he's not THAT good of a friend. No one is!

*And before you ask, I was Sir Edmund Hillary, and he was Tenzig Norgay.

As a long time Reo owner I've tried other mods but always come back to my reos for their bulletproof performance. This looks like an ideal match. Two questions. How long does it take to build and install a new coil/wick. What is the approximate cost of a coil/wick?

Just thought of a third question. I'm a boge lr carto user. How does it compare to those.

1. Bit of a learning curve involved, but not too bad. I use 2mm silica wick (silica candle wick) and kanthal wire that I soften for a minute with a lighter. Think the thicker wick is much easier to coil than the 1mm bulli wick or even oxidized ss mesh. Snip a 4 mm piece of bulli wick, soften approximately 1 1/2" of kanthal, wrap it around the coil 3-4 times, and that's it. The holes in the diodes to insert the ends of the coil makes recoiling much easier.

2. I think 100 yards of the wick was $10-15 and 75 feet of the kanthal was $6 off ebay. (I'll let you do the math.) A 12"x12" sheet of ss cloth mesh can be found from $13 to $26 online and can similarly make a gagillion wicks.

3. Have quite a few of the boge that I use with Reos and various tank mods. Liked them, but no comparison to the BFF. Sterno (one of my first vaping converts, who got a couple of my early Reo prototypes) likes his cartos, but repeatedly commented earlier today "Wow, you can really taste the juice!"
