Something I've noticed along the way of life's up-and-down journey is that remorse or guilt often makes people more irresponsible rather than less. It's like partial conscience that backfires.
You wait a seemingly interminable time for something you ordered (and paid for), then email the person responsible, who reads your email and feels bad for having stiffed you for so long, but then can't bring himself to respond, and in blowing you off, makes the harm even worse.
That's almost as bad as the person who feels the need to apologize 25 times for a single mistake, forcing you to tell him/her that "it's OK," over and over and over, even though you're the one who got stiffed. LOL.
Human beings are strange animals.
I don't know what the deal is with Todd. He's had five of my boxes I sent back for repair for more than two months. (They all drained the batteries within two days, even if I didn't use them, and having to always turn them off via the switch was a PITA---the cause of the voltage leak was supposedly conductivity in the hot glue Todd was using at the time.)
I've contacted Todd via the web site to ask about the status of the repairs, but not a word back after a week. And yes, it took an entire month to get the second 5-volt Luicy Juicy I ordered. A month? Sorry, that's too long. My best guess is that Todd's in over his head and is scrambling now just to stay afloat.
At this point, I've pretty much written off Maximum Vapors. Life is too short to get upset about stuff we can't control (especially other people's stuff), and anyway, I've got 55 other PVs, so it's not like I can't vape.
