DazFX, when you say longer and short, you meant using the longer and short battery; which make the tube extend or shorter?
Anyway, I couldn't wait and made the order. Hope it's at least as good as the Vamo.
Thought, this site is "bad". I have more battery bodies than I need, and order more just because of reading this thread.

The kit that came with the iclear 30's also came with 2 separated battery tubes. 1 longer than the other, both feels very solid, the longer wobles a bit but you need to apply some pressure, is not like it will rattle .

I received my full kit yesterday with the iClear 30s. This device is right on par with the Vamo. Beautiful device and performs great. I'm using the shorter tube with all 3 battery sizes. There's plenty of grip for me with the short tube. Feels very solid. I'm use to cartos and tanks now so I only used the iClears for testing some juice I received yesterday too. My Cirrus tank looks great on top of the SVD and vapes just as well as my Prov... that device everyone hates lol.
That's for stacking a couple of '350s. Never tried it; i just use a '650 in mine.

No it's just for looks/different grip.....you can do 2 18350's with the short tube also.
Mine came over the weekend while I was on a kayaking trip in the ozarks.
It's the real deal and was worth the wait. It had a few black scuff marks on it but I'm guessing it was from the packaging it comes in, and they've worn off after one day of use. Definitely not the smallest mod ever, but I like it. For 40$ shipped to more door its a steal and I won't worry too much about it getting stolen or left behind if I'm out and about.

Not in my experience. It sounds like the issue your having is because you're used to the vamo. I like the layout better on the svd, IMO the vamos buttons were too close together.
I also like how the svd fire button lights up green yellow or red depending on battery life remaining.
