Bump...

Anyone has the answer?

Here's what I found...

The 201 mouth piece has a slightly larger circumference than the 801. The cart of the 201 is slightly shorter in height than the 801 cart. If you try using the mouthpiece of the 801 on the 201 atty, it's loose. In fact, it's too loose to use because I could envision someone sucking the mouthpiece into the mouth and possibly down the throat.

I can't seem to separate the 201 cart from the 201 mouth piece like we can on the 801.

An interesting caveat, though. The 201 mouthpiece fits VERY tight in the 801 atty. Keep this in mind for that overly tightened atty that occasionally gets stuck in the JS. In effect, the 201 mouthpiece becomes an 801 atty removal tool. =)

Spot on:thumb: IN fact the 201 carts I got with my 201 attys are actually a little too loose for me so I haven't had the best experience with the 201 so far. But I really like the 201 carts on the 801.

Here is what I did exactly:

1) pop juice cup off beci cart.
2) take saved original M201 cap and make hole slightly bigger so beci juice cup fits
3) take Leatherman Wave file, and carefully file protruding lip off bottom of beci cup.
4) press beci cup into original M201 cap
5) cut exactly 2mm off beci cup so it fits nice
6) make a tastey sammich and watch Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood free on the funimation youtube channel, smoke 555 out of awesome M201 with custom cart, Refilling rarely.
7) Lost cart somewhere, who cares. The M201 is a dripping machine. BE112 is much better for carts.

Hope this helps

so, leaking out of the light-end of the stick is not indicative of a problem with the stick? I understand that a flooded atomizer will leak; what i'm asking is whether the internals are supposed to be sealed such that the liquid will only come out of the atomizer shaft (and not the other end of the stick) in the event of a flooded atomizer.

thanks

No electronic device is waterproof. Liquid coming out of the front of the Stick can only mean you are flooding it with liquid...

I don't think that's entirely accurate (I work in an electronics manufacturing company, so I know), however, making it liquid proof is, I'm sure, cost prohibitively expensive. Since the liquid and the PCB we're discussing here are relatively benign to each other, the only real consequence of a leaking issue is the mess it creates (and I'm pretty much convinced that's generally a user induced issue). If it's OK that the user can disassemble the stick and clean it out without voiding the warranty altogether, I think (personal opinion here), that's an acceptable way to address the issue.

I'll bet though, that with a little more creative work on the interior design, maybe some O-rings and such, this issue could be put to bed in a future version.

Well got my 201 ... let it charge up and WoW what a hit !! I have never owned a pen style but WOW. The only thing I see, Is like figurehead said on his review, is that I'm going to have to bring my nic level down because after vaping a while I got very light headed. I'm used to vaping all day pretty much non stop. ( e-pipe, nicostick ) That atty is a killer. Sorry didn't mean to jump the tread.

I had a similar issue ... it would stay activated after releasing the switch.

I smacked it a few times in the palm of my hand (after removing the atty so as not to damage it). That seems to have unstuck whatever was stuck, and it has been working fine ever since ... about 3 days now.

Anyway, I emailed Ethan the day it was stuck, and he's sending a replacement. :thumb:
