Public TV fans will get it:

Picture Brian Blessed (as Augustus Caesar) yelling at the top of his voice -
"Quinctilius Varus, WHERE ARE MY JANTYS?"

Or better yet, picture Augustus Caesar himself yelling at the top of his voice -
"Quinctilii Vari, ubi est Jantii mei?"

Yep, its really getting to me now. I think I might even have gotten some endings wrong.

Now old Fiddler is certainly cracking
His Latin precision is lacking!
To get out of this rut
He may light up a ....
And spend all night drinking and hacking!

Gotta stop these limericks. Kendra, its all your fault!

Dura-C may ship out june 4th. Then again they may ship out later than that. Nobody really knows till they are actually shipped.

This info would of been nice before I ordered. Janty knew how many they had in stock, they should of notified new customers of the delay before we pressed that purchase button. It would of given me the power to make the decision to purchase somewhere else. Second- the clarification of the delays in different products ( stick/ dura-c) should ahve been addressed to the customer. I am left to guess if the shipment delay pertains to all orders. If so, then Janty needed to list the delays not just for the stick but for all products ( carts, stick, dura's, juice, etc) it is not only good business, but it is at least they could do to to inform the customer.

DW - They are trying to avoid the problems... If it is being shipped as a USB memory stick, it would be odd to be in such a box... wouldn't it? Can't you just go sit in a corner and quit being such a nay-sayer?
Thats not the point. The point is that I asked Ludo in a very matter of fact way, if Janty is susceptible to the same thing that is happening to Smoking Everywhere. Ludo told me no.

a few weeks later, here is Jeff telling us...

"As many of you know our good 'ole USA government has been making life very difficult for suppliers including ourselves."

That is the exact opposite of what Ludo said. One of them has to be lying or misrepresenting the truth.

I can't imagine not having any spare carts! (I used to wash mine out regularly, I have 3 large coffee mugs full of 'em; plus I have around 85 prefilled carts from Puresmoker & I bought 100 empty carts from Ruyandirect.com. The blank carts are very cheap there.)

I've been reading all these threads & tried my various atomizers; the Janty one fits nicely, and I have 2 older Puresmoker attys that I have to work to get in, but they fit. (I bought a bag of 10 generic 801 attys from Ruyan, but I simply can't get them in the Stick.)

But this is a nice device. For the first time in months, I didn't have to pack along my eyeglass case of spare penstyle batteries to the office--just this nifty gadget & the USB cord. I gotta tell ya, the best thing about this device is getting to use it while it's charging!

I charged both batteries when I got mine last night, took around 25 minutes per battery. But i have no idea how long the charge lasts, because everytime I sat down at my laptop last night, I just plugged it in--same at the office today.

To be honest, when I first held the thing, I thought "Well, this won't beat my pen. It feels too different than what I'm used to...plus I'm not used to having to press a button each time I vape."

That took around a day to get used to--now it just feels natural.

What's most important though is the draw (which feels just right) and the smoke. It is a nice heavy plume, smooth and very satisfying! And like these guys said, it seems to really get all the juice from that cart.

Man I REALLY love being free of those pricey stick batteries! This is a fine little product, and I LOVE the "charge while you vape"! Janty has made e-vaping easier than ever, thanks guys. :)

Drema,
Agreed. This is getting a little long in the tooth, and I know exactly how you feel. I guess it's just not a good idea to pre-purchase, but darn it all, sometimes if you wait, it's there for 10 minutes and sold out again, so there you are. That's the ying and yang of it. Especially when a person doesn't have a good stash of cash to buy something alternate in the meantime. Just keep the faith, hopefully it will be over soon. Let us know when you get it, if it was worth the wait.

DW,

Honestly, you're kind off base a bit with this one. Ludo nor I have lied about anything. As a result of increased troubles with customs we've had to change our shipping strategy and use carriers that don't deliver as quickly as we'd like them to. We previously used UPS and could get these overnight and had very accurate tracking information. Now it seems it can range anywhere between 3-7 days for delivery. There have not been any delays as a result of items being confiscated. There have, on the other hand, been shipping delays as we are forced to use alternate shipping methods.

There really is no conspiracy or lying going on here. We're actually pretty honest people.

I look forward to reading your next claims about the Janty business.

Happy Friday!

Jeff

In my earlier post I said i had to sand 1 atomizer from ruyan and i finally got a chance to try the other 4 spares i have. 3 of them fit except for 1 which will need some sanding! I guess using the atomizer hole must of expanded since I've been using the ruyan atomizer or the paint on the ruysn atomizer is a little thinner.

I am so so sorry to have to complain about the JS, when I got mine so quickly compared to others. I truly am. I know you are pulling your hair out trying to deal with the impatient and sometimes nasty people wanting theirs. But its broken. I was shocked when it was in my po box today. I really didnt expect it to come that fast after reading the forum. This is what is going on with my JS:

1) I put in the battery, then screwed the atty in and it instantly started to crackle and pop and got sooo soo hot you could hardly touch the end. I hit on it a few times (not needing to push the button) but had to unscrew it to turn it off because it is always on. I figured I could use it for now by just unscrewing it when I was done hitting it, and wait until you got caught up on your orders before returning it. There are no led lights at all. No 11 second cut off either.

2)I didnt get the xtra batterys I ordered with it or a wall/car charger.

Tell me what to do Janty staff and/or Moderater:
Should I wait until you get more in? Should I wait until you get all your pre-orders done and then send it back? I dont mind waiting untill the pre order people are taken care of, just as long as I get what I paid for working correctly. I am sure you guys will take care of it eventually and I am ok waiting if someone will just tell me thats what we need to do. I wouldnt want your jobs for sure!!

I received mine yesterday. I have to say it's awesome. I've used so many of these damn things it may have been cheaper just to buy regular smokes.

I hope the bucks stop here because it does everything you want. Great vapor, long lasting battery and really uses all or most of the cart. Having the bigger carts is a huge plus as well. I've also found the lighter you drag the better it works.

I love it!

1. The Janty atomizer does not screw in tight, its like the thread is stripped. Is this normal ? How much to tighten?

2. On the Janty site it say's that 801, and pen style atomizer type fit the stick.
I bought three 801 atomizers from three different Company's, for my stick, to have extra's, and none of them fit, too big. WHAT TO DO????????????

3. Janty stated not to use any other plain USB cable except the one they supply, they say it will fry up the mini port, and I ask WHY!, a plain cable alone is just a cable, and many Electronic technical people I talked to are puzzled on this when I ask them, because it does not have any volt or mah reducer on this cable. What's so special about this cable?

NOW the PUFF: So far has GREAT Vapor, with each draw being consistent, and the battery is lasting. Also the 801 cart lasts a hell of a lot longer between refills than the 901 or Dura-C

I actually got my JS on Tuesday and fired it right up. Great vapor, great taste. I guess I was lucky with the extra 801 attys that I bought. I got mine from David Yang at eastmall and all of them work just fine. Just a bit snug as they first start in (just like the Janty atty), but no problem after that.
I DID get my 5 carts, but they won't vape. I guess these have been sitting on the shelf too long as they appear to be all dried out. No big deal as far as I'm concerned. There is another thread in this site that states you can e-mail "Janty-Mod" directly, and he'll send you out a pack of carts.
As far as the box goes, like everybody else, mine came wrapped in bubble wrap instead of a box. I would probably trash the box anyhow, so who cares?
Overall, I'm quite pleased. I'm glad that I decided to order an extra JS, (this one) because if I hadn't, I'd be wondering what all the hoopla was about while I waited for my Limited Edition Stick.
Cowgirl mentioned that her stick will go off if laid flat on a table and pressed down. I tried this and couldn't get it to go off. I wonder if there is a bit of variation in the switches due to run out of tolerances or something, but like I said, I don't have the problem.
I still can't decide if this will be my primary device or not. I've also got a KB and a Dura (along with a 901 and a mini-pipe plus MANY extra parts for all) that I just love. They all have their good points and specific uses. I think that with the super long battery life and charge as you vape feature, this will probably be the one I use at work. (besides the fact that it doesn't look like a ciggy, and most folks at work won't know what it is)
Anyway, that's my 2 cents!
Keep up the good work Janty, but please try to be a bit more accurate when telling us shipping dates and backorder problems!:thumb:

What's so special about this cable? You can use a USB extension without issue. This has been stated by Ludo..

OK, My 2nd Day With The STICK & It ROCKS!

FYI: Don't be Scared To Force That 801 Atom In, Its Just Really Tight! Almost Like Its Going To Break, Just Put It In & Do It Slow & Carefully. But If You See A Plastic Bur You Can Easily File Of Scrape It With A Razor Knife. Yes The Hole Was To Small On Mine (The Mold) And It Can Be Easily Dremeled If Needed, But No Sense To Do That. Be Sure To Screw It In Carefully While Pushing It Down So You Won't Strip It! The Atom Will Tighten, Do Not Over Tighten It.

Again I Tried Several Different Brand Atoms, Some Are Really Tight, Especially The Painted Ones. Remember You Are Not Taking Your Atom Out Everyday, Just Leave The One You Want In There & Leave It In There Till Its Time For Replacement!

USB Cables: That Is All BS About The Special USB Cable In My Opinion, If The Mini-USB Port or Charging Circuit Is Going To Cook The Port or Charging Circuit Is Defective. USB Has Standards And It Is A Standard 5 Pin Mini-USB Port.
I Tried 7 Different Mini-USB Cables, No Issues.

Also The Motorola Mini-USB Right Angle Connector Works Perfect & I Suggest It If Being Used As A Pass-Through, Other Wise The Short Straight Cable Is Fine & Convenient For Charging, Average Full Charge From 3/4 Battery Depletion Is Around 90 Minutes For Me While Vaping. Also Note The LED Light Will Go On & Off Automatically With The Charging Circuit, So Don't Worry About.

Battery: Screw & Compartment is Fine. Be Sure To Be Carefull Like You Do As With Everything Else You Do & Use Common Sense. Just Remember There Is A Spring In There So There May Be Some Pressure That May Push It Out Fast While Unscrewing It, Just Pay Attention To What Your Doing & Its Easy. Be Sure To Put It So The Positive Terminal (The End With The Bump Is Up), If You Cant Remember Or Can Do That, Then Its Time For You To Hang It Up! Carry A Spare If You Go Out, Otherwise Just Put The The USB Cable On Once In A While To Top Off The Batt, U Will Be All Set For Few Hours!

Vape: It Rocks With Any 801 Style Atom, BE112, Ruyan, VaporGuys, DietSmokes, MVP, Etc & More!

Leather Belt Clip Holster / Case: Its Nice, But It Does Not Swivel. Just Be Careful When Getting Up Or Sitting Down, Getting In Or Out Of Your Car, It Will Come Off Your Belt & Bye Bye.

Is The Janty Stick Worth It: Bet Yo ...., Its The Best Product Since Sliced Bread!

If You Did Not Order One and You Vape, Its Worth It & Will Pay For Itself! No More Overpriced Crap E-Cig Batts!

Can It Have Improvements? Of Course Like Anything Else It Can Always Be Improved.

As Most Of You Know Me, I Have Spent Thousands On E-Cigs, Done Many Mods & Sticks and I Am Not Affiliated With Janty Or Anyone Else, I Tell It As It Is! The Statements Made Here Are My Opinion, So Take It As You Like.

Bottom Line Is The Janty Stick Rocks! It Is Worth The Wait & The Price!

You're in Ohio? I amazed you could spell Illinois.............:p

Unfortunately, both my sons were born whilst I was living in Obamaberg- the south side of Chicago.... so they are "native" Illinosians. (Illenese?)

Fortunately, they have both been able to overcome that handicap...:p

... and, BTW, I couldn't find your frickin' office. I gotta wait another day....week...month..?? :-x

I was in Cleveland for a month one week last Dec..............

It actually wasn't too bad when the sun was at just the right angle you could bask in the glint of the light reflecting off the garbage in Lake Erie................
