I've looked at the higher volt mods and I really really want a 5v or something similar. But, I'd rather have a sleek Janty 4.5v than a "home mod" anyday. I've put myself on a full hardware buying Halt until I see a manufactured higher voltage system that impresses me enough to end my "no buy". I think the Baby J might just be it. Its the closest I've "seen" so far.
The Janty eGO is the greatest advance in vaping since the Dura C. However:

A well behaving 801 attie whilst dripping for me is superior to a 510 attie which needs topping up after 3 inhales. Every time I vape an 801 after the 510 the throat hit and flavour are very suprising!! I would be delighted to dump the Ego and use the Baby J!
I'd also have to say skip it... AFAIK, there is not that big of an 801 market to begin with.... I mean the 801 atty's are the size of a baseball bat..... :yikes:
If the eGo needs a big brother, how about a larger battery (like a 14500), usb/pt options, and 510/901/carto options...

Im sorry.. but thats just plain wrong. There is a _huge_ 801 market. And you cant make the ego into a bigbrother, by using the same atomizer. The 801 atomizer is big - yes - but it also is big because thats what makes it vape differently.
So while i do respect your opinion, i gotta say i do not agree. I think the 801 has a solid share of the market, and the Baby J is for those people.
Also, - you say a "larger" battery and then you quote the 14500? The 14500 is RATED at 750 mAH, but effectively it is a 350-500ish mAH battery. The eGo lasts MUCH longer than a 14500. Dont believe what the chinese tell you the mAH is on - the truth is so much different than the advertisement...

the 801 has its fans, mostly vapers that like the smooth aromatic vape the big atomizer chamber delivers.
both atomizers have their own fans, there are flavors in liquid that a 510 can't bring into the vape, for some of them its really better not to taste them. imo the 510 hates fruits for soem reason.
but even the 801 lacks the on some other flavors or its just to soft for some.
personally i like both atomizers, and the 801 deserves a good looking device. the penstyle format has to be replaced.

I guess I should have typed a bit more... What I should have said is make it mod like... Tube with atty cap and end cap... Then I can use any atty I want based on what adapter version I choose....
I mentioned a 14500 because that is about the smallest sized mod battery to give back decent battery life without making the device into a tank...
It appears based on the responses to this thread that it's already been decided to make it.... I am sure it will be quality and I am sure you will have a market for it.... Just not from me.....
I do plan on getting another eGo once the Silver version is available....
Janty makes a great product and I am sure this will be no different... I am just not a fan of the 801 and it's only because of it's size... It's a nice vape but it HUGE...

I've only used an 801 with my Jantystick, V1 & V2. I put it aside for awhile and started using my 510. After many atomizers going bad on me and annoying bad flavor, I put it aside and picked up my V1 stick again. I forgot how good the 801 was. My original atomizer on the V1 is still going strong. Never had an 801 atomizer go bad on me yet and this thing is months old (not sure when the V1 came out).
BabyJ + 801 flavor + longer battery life + usb pt + sleek new ego like body = winner to me. Please make it and be quick about it ok?

try to do the rinse for your atomizers - it sounds like you just got gunk in them.
Basic steps are:
Put 510 atty under water - then blow it out till its as dry as you can get it ( dont have to do it excessively, just till it seems dry ) - then insert that atty into your ego (for instance) - and while holding down the power button ( without a cart on ) then blow as hard as you can onto the atomizer ( to cool it down ) and keep holding the power button 5-6 seconds. Then pause 10 secs, and repeat - do this around 5-6 times then put in 2 drops of your fav liquid, and let the whole thing rest for a few mins, - and then see if its any better.

i can confirm this method works.
Doing that from november with my stick and from 3 weeks with my eGo,
my atties perform definitely longer and better. I do the rinse thing every morning, go figure.
In my first year of vaping finally i've almost achieved the perfect vaping experience with the eGo, there's just one thing that is still a issue imho, carts inefficiency.
i really hope the tesla filter will be the fix for that.
Looking forward for the baby j too, i like long relaxing vape sessions as i use very little nic in my liquids and 801 huge carts are perfect for that.

Please!! The 801 is the best atomiser there is!!!! I have been vaping nearly 2 years and none other comes close!

LOL you're so right. Well I haven't bought everything he's come up with but the things I do have, have all been top quality. Besides, we can't help it if we have such good taste in things, some of us are just born that way.
I bought the Tornado hehe! Only because my Janty supplier was on holiday or something when the Ego came out Can you forgive me?
