My oponion [and it doesn't mean anything] is the eGo is #1

I like the throat hit and flavor better on the eGo BUT that is probably due to the fact that I am not as big a fan of the 801 atty as I am the 510 or 901 .. The USB is a BIG PLUS for the Stick ..

I planned on using the Stick as somewhat of a pass through, in case I have an unexpected dead battery or when I will be doing a lot of vaping in front of the computer listing auctions ...

I think my new 801 atty needs to be broken in, and the battery isn't fully charged. I am using the Stick pass through style right now ..

The NEW Stick is every bit AND MORE as great at the Janty Stick v2 [ I own 3 of them which I will be selling in the next day or two.] Right now I am too much in love with my eGo to give a fair review of the Stick, I think. But I wouldn't part with either !!!

My next hardware order will be the ego or the stick V3, be sure to keep this updated as to which one is the winner in your opinion and why.
Atm I'm leaning toward the ego.

has anyone done a comparison between the 2? Im debating on which one to buy. I already have th 510 801 901 SB and THE ChUCK, but am sick of drippin often and would like something more compact that preform the best. HELP PLEASE

then I would have to say the JSv3 because first you will get it sooner, the price isn't bad... and the unit doubles as a usb pass tru.... its also a good size

as far as the juice box it is an excellent product created by one man...it is worth having if you are willing to wait.... but it is always wise to have another device as a just in case ....

and since you only gave two choices,,, buy the JSv3

Well honestly junebugg I personally would make a box mod over buying anothers box mod, but that's just me....

but we have seemed to hijacked this thread AND the questions you are asking should be posted in the genereal ecig discussion and not Janty's paid for sub-forum.... that's just forum etiquette ..... and more people will be able to give you the answers you are looking for out in the general

Now.. .personally i think this is a stupid question to ask, cause .. i think i know the answer ;)

But, in order to do it the correct way :

Would YOU be interested in an eGo with USB charging?

The method will be exactly similar to that described with the Baby J - ie. you have a cap at the end with our logo on, that you can unscrew to reveal a USB port, in which you can both charge AND vape while charging.

The final length of the USB eGo will be around 135mm - and it will have 650 mAH (according to our current calculations)

So.. would you be interested in this device? :D

I personally say no. I think since you came out with the eGo this way, just leave it alone or somewhere, something will get mixed up. Now, you have the Baby J with the USB connection for charging and leave that alone. Too much of the same product in diff versions just will kill business as people will get a bit confused. Maybe if you were to bring out the eGo next year with the USB charging, yes, I would go for that just not now. You need to see how things go with what you have now, no?

No.

One of the most appealing things about the eGo is its size/length. Adding length to it, no matter how little, seems counter-productive to me. The eGo is setting the tone as THE *out and about, all day long* device. Tethering it to a USB port, attempting to make it a dual purpose device doesn't appeal to me. I prefer single purpose devices, regardless of the genre. Products tend to lose quality when they're designed to do a multitude of things -- like a jack of all trades, master of none kind of thing.

I have no issue with having a few different single purpose devices that each have their strengths in their given arena. I mean, I don't need two different ones for each day of the week, never repeating within the month, like; The Moddess, but I digress...

Mik, I've never seen this mentioned and I wonder if Janty has had any internal discussions about it -- Is there any consideration for a Janty Pass Thru? If not there should be. There are only two quality PTs on the market. I wont name them in your sub-forum but every non-newbie knows the two I'm referring to.

Well, it's a nice option to have for fall-back charging as well as staying topped off while at the PC. Plus, you serve both of the opinions out there. If you want it, it's there, if you don't want it, don't use it. Can't see how you could possibly go wrong.

Now for eGo "purists", perhaps sell the option of either "style" batt. Again, the more people you satisfy the better the gig.....

The slickest thing would be to have the usb charger as an add-on. Screw off the standard batt cover, screw on the usb charger and you have the eGo with usb on board. Batt cover fits the batt or the add-on usb to cover the port.

I personally would rather see the dura/510 pcc altered to work with the ego. I realize the whole point of the ego is to not have to fool around with things like that but I just like the integrated feel, looks and protection from damage that a pcc offers and if it keeps the battery topped off all the better.

What I will probably do when the questions about the extra cover are settled and I place my ego order is find a nice dart case or something similar to use with it to keep it protected from the elements.

Nope, not unless it were an option and the original non-USB remained available.

I like the size, and I don't need/want it any bigger. If battery life were short, I'd be all in favor of a USB, but with more than 10 hours of vaping time, it seems unnecessary.

I don't need a device with EVERYTHING on board.
