I've thought about doing something like what you did, putting a coil in the reducer but was afraid that it might fall out and not be able to get it out again. I take it that it is a very tight fit?
We just pretty much have the one, the others are impostors.Oh, btw, I'm new to this thread, you guy infested with trolls like this all the time?
My stainless Merlin seeps juice between the AFC and the base which pools on the mod. I contacted STS and there is a replacement base on the way to me.
No Video's, No Pictures, No RMA and No Hassle whatsoever.
Welcome! It's really not bad most of the time.Oh, btw, I'm new to this thread, you guy infested with trolls like this all the time?
Yes Jim, just by asking this question you became a troll as well [emoji6](meant sarcastically of course as everyone that has questioned the problem has been called a troll). I suppose I'm at fault for the latest outburst for relaying what I was told about his supposed defect from the designer.Oh, btw, I'm new to this thread, you guys infested with trolls like this all the time?
Where is your coil placed in relation to the posts? What size coil is it? Also what flavor are you using? I have one of my 3 adv's and sadly my main, skittles, that I get zero flavor with rayon at all. Haven't tried with the merlin but have in my skittles boreas tank and my limitless. No issues with the other flavors I make but skittles for some reason.I use the direct to lung vaping method.
So the air control is fully open, and
I run my rayon wick in front of the juice flow holes,
allowing the wick to absorb the juice it needs.
No dry hits, plenty clouds, although the taste is somewhat muted.

Its nice and tight and can't fall out do to the 510 connection screw at the base. The only thing you have to watch is that it is seated below the lip of the plug on the deck. Don't want it snagging yer wick or perhaps causing a short. But with the coil size I used, it's not coming out without effort and tools on your part. It has been one of the best MTL vapes I've used to date.
As a MTL tootler, I was pleasantly surprised to find that with the air flow a bit less than 1/4 open and the reducer in place, I am fine with the draw as is. I did try a smaller ID drip tip and that made a big difference as well. Now I just need to find one that looks good on it in black (I know, the tank is already SS, but I sort of like the contrast with a black tip).
I vape exactly the same and the drip tip was way to big for me at first. After vaping it for a few days i love the drip tip,i kind of close my lips a bit over it.If i try my old attys now the drip tip seems way too narrow on them. If this RTA keeps performing like now in the long run then my search for the perfect vape is over.
