So did i, i contacted AugVape immediately i noticed the issue...
This grows tiresome, lets move on.

Says AugVape on the box. Gives their website. Silly me for following the obvious chain of support. Im a maverick like that.

Show me where i said it only applied to me or only to the Merlin....i put in the ticket and was told that they wanted a video of the defect, this came from AugVape. Each supplier has their own warranty requirements obviously. Clearly that is AugVapes. I can read english, fasttech never question that it is a defect, they repeat that AugVape wants proof, how can that not be more clear after several times pointing this out. Im prety sure by now fasttech themselves wouldn't even bother asking for proof because theyve already had many returned due to previous defects like the bad base.

More to the point youre continually attacking me and others for having the gall to return something thats defective, yet you apparently have a few of these yourself, hypocracy much? pot calling kettle much? i guess its hard to troll ones self? But feel free to attack others....

Youre nothing but a bitter troll who probably gets all their kicks from trying to (unsuccessfully) bully people in forums. Im sorry to deny you your superiority fix once again.

And just a tip off, because with trolls like you, the penny never drops, so ill spell it out for you... im sure AugVape is going to be very happy with the trolls here spending 7 pages trolling myself and others with issues, you cant even see how youve taken an issue which could have ended with me posting "i have along 510 pin, it doesnt fit my mods and returning it", and a polite response of "Sorry to hear that" and it being done, and turned into 7 pages of bad looking troll post press for AugVape...let me know when they send you a thank you card. You trolls probably cost them more than the AUD$64 they owe me in refunds (AUD$43 for the tank (things arent cheap to buy in Australia) and AUD$23 to return post it (and things arent cheap to return post either))

btw Still no word from AugVape, well i hope they learn a lesson from this at least. Maybe you trolls will too.

How's it going bud? Everything work out with the bases?
They are better and the black one came with the oval shaped liquid feed holes. I'm going to take one of them apart and see if they can be fixed. I have a base that is useless so it won't matter if I kill it.

Before you take it apart... press it together. Seems they may not be pressed together well enough (read that over there)

I took my air reducer out and put the notch coil back in. It works quite good in power mode but I can't get it to do well in TC mode.
My Merlin magically returned to rotation as a different animal.

Been running the same setup, no TC issues for over a week, on the Wimec RX75. I will say I cut through 2 notch coils on my first two installs, over tightening. Those non resistance leads are thin, and can come off the weld, hard to see by eye. Double check those areas.

All of mine are tight. No gaps at all. I wonder how many orings are in it??? I will find out tomorrow.

I went back at it, it's fine in TC mode now, I may have had it on the wrong setting as I didn't change anything about the build.

I read on another Forum that someone pressed them together tighter w/a couple of socket & a hammer and resolved the problem.
Might be worth trying before disassembling &/or destroying it.
