I tried the battery, pushed the center pin to make sure it was still floating, tried my old Kanger subtank mini & the same thing. I can't believe how easy it just broke!

I was aware of the Boreas back when, though it's not my cup o'tea so I never bought one. And it was just this week that I've finally got a Merlin, so I haven't been too aware of AugVape.
Just random thoughts. Any help?

Slightly OT, but I recall others having the same problem and I can't find the resolution in a search:
As the Merlin wobbles a bit on an Evic VTC Mini, what are those washers called (that are thin, not those thick heat sink things) that will allow the tank to seat properly? I can't find them and I could have sworn that I wish-listed them, but I didn't.

Yes, but not satisfactorily... yet.
It's sitting and draining the deck while I decide what to replace the coil with.
I've certainly got spare Notch coils, but I might take another crack at the 430.
It's just so light at 28g I can't get any mass without too high a res. Don't have much sample to play with or I'd twist some. May just go with the known fall-back... 316.

10 nice and perfect thickness, "black" disks, delivered to my door for $4, was not something I considered expensive. I didn't include shipping because I bought other things. Just make sure your HW store ones, are as thin as the Mod Guards, or you may not make a good connection to the 510. I use them on all my mods, and vape TC most of the time with no issues. Good luck!
If I needed something like these discs I would find a piece of thin plastic the thickness needed and cut it the size.
You're right, that's not bad.
I had seen them at KP while looking for a Nemmy mag switch upgrade.
If I go with them (need to find other goodies for the cart) then I'll grab their discs (1mm, I believe).
