I have a parallel 316 going now.
Parallel 26g, ss316l, 3mm, 8/7wrap. .25ish. Smooth sailing.

That's almost exactly (0.29 @3.5) what I have in a uh... Bachelor Nano (losing track).

It's... sssssssssssssmmokin' :p

It played hob on the DNAs for a bit though (spacing shifted maybe) so I was considering twisted instead. Or just a big fat 24g :D
Finally found WiresandStuff for fatter 430 gauges but I might get more 28g just to twist up.

For now... I've given up on TC with this one. but it's bangin' in Power mode.

Went ahead and tried one of the Notch coils (what's with the offset legs?).

Damn, they pre-pack a ton of wick in these things. I got over enthusiastic and trimmed the tails scary thin. Lightly tucked halfway down the cups/channels but without filling the juice hole. Scary.

Still breaking it in (passing 38w @ 0.3) but no leaks yet (new v2). Fingers crossed.

eta: Just a hint of something at the back of my throat at 42w and I'm not in the mood for a dry hit so I'm holding at 40w.

Not sure what these coils should soak up... but I'm taking a productive, full draw at 40.
Good enough for now... it may still settle in a bit.

So here they are. That's the entire base that is supposed to be one part.

The only real issue with putting it back together is the copper 510, that is if it is indeed stripped threads. Clean it up good, replace the 510 pin, tap it back together, be more careful not to drop it, it should be OK.

I'd suggest contacting SubtankSupply or Eciggity, one of them may be able to supply you a replacement 510 pin. Or possibly someone in this thread who has received a replacement base and has no plans to repair it.

Funny! I never thought of it as an "8." I always thought it was a stylized dragon...

Could be part of the thinking. I can see it (very Asian too).

I had quickly edited my post to put "8" in place of "S".
It didn't strike me as an eight till after I posted.
Still only half convinced. ;)

I just watched the vid Lucy posted and got a laugh that he asked the same question. :p
