I have been vaping unicorn blood as my all day vape for a while now. When I fill the bottle, basically daily, I have to rewick. By the time my bottle is getting low the juice starts getting dark. Is this normal? It seems like I have to rewick quite a bit. Maybe it's just unicorn blood gums it up quick?? I am using a 6 wrap 28g kanthal coil at about .85 ohms with rolled cotton wick.

I've been noticing the same thing since loading my reo up with bobas bounty. It gunks the coils up faster and with the juice squonking up to the atty and excess being sucked back into the bottle, some of that gunk will get backwashed into the bottle.
May be the same thing you're experiencing, but I've never tried unicorn blood. Unicorn poop, yes... but never the blood.

I tend to just fill my bottles halfway when vaping anything that's mostly vg. I noticed that my Boba's and Hooch both start tasting a lil funky from backwash.

Call me crazy, but I actually prefer the second bottle of bobas after some backwash buildup - adds a nice sorta smokey flavor. By the third bottle it starts tasting pretty nasty though.

Same with the NET I use. when I refill the bottle, I just give it a good shake to mix the sediment in with the fresh juice :D

Probably why my coils always look like the "Other brand" piston in the Pennzoil commercials! HA!

Just finished setting up my new copper grand. This is what I meant when I refer to getting the coil close to the air hole. This is 8 wraps of 26g A1 Kanthal. 1/16th drill bit.

Yar man! bad icestorm. No work today. Had to drive to pick up one of my soldiers in Syracuse. Took me over an hour to break the 1" thick ice shell off of my car before I could go.

Not fun at all, but it sure is pretty to look at!

You must be getting the sh@t we got over the weekend. My driveway is still ribbed for no ones pleasure ;p At least we're getting snow now to hide the ice.

Out of frustration due to the lack of 26g kanthal available to order, and my dwindling supply of it, I tried twisting some 28g for the first time today. Wowzer! It's so much easier to work with, and the heat up time is instant. Both performance and flavor are hands down superior. Never gonna build without twisted again, I am sold sold sold.

+1

Really brings out the heat and flavor. Not waiting on the 26g anymore though. Now I'm trying to get my hands on some of that fancy stainless stuff you guys been flashin around.

Any Idea where I can get my hands on a cyclone AFC? Indy is currently AOS.

Going CNC in the no so distant future. Might have to make my own. :)
